Third persons pov:
Elena's mother (Ruby) have 11 males in her family . She have many male cub but only Elena was a female cub. As females were rare, Elena was pampered well from childhood but everything change one day .
When Elena was 10 seasons old ,she fall into river and catch a fever ,as the village healer was not there at that time she was burning from fever for few days.
And after that another healer was called from beast city at high price by elena's father (Alexander),as he can't see his beloved cub in pain.
After healer check her he gave tonic to her and said " as she have been burning from fever for few days " with a pause and sad expression he continued " she will be unable to bear a cub " .
When he finished his sentence , others were shocked as females value is from bearing cub and a female who can't have cub is not valuable for both family and village.
As in small village, females bearing more cubs means more stong males and their village will be strong . And this news was huge shocked to everyone. All villagers starting whispering between each other , some was sad some happy.
After bidding farewell to healer , Alexander recieve a slap from his mate Ruby and she said with a disdain in her eyes " useless, even after you spent so much white crystals to cure her ,she became defective ".
Ruby' s pov
Ruby was a bear female so she was always compared to others female . As a bear female she was not beautiful , with frizzy brown hair , thick lips , tanned skin and single eyelid eyes. So she was always jealous of other beauty (even her daughter).
And after she became adult she started taking mates and she bear many cubs for the village,so she became famous in village for high fertility
As beast women have estrus once every season and they can only became pregnant during that period but it may not always be successful but Ruby always successfully became pregnant every estrus so males always shows their love to her and want to be her mate .
So she was always proud of her high fertility, after giving birth to Elena she became even famous as females are rare in this world so bearing a female is huge accomplishment a female could have .
And now after so many years of Pampers you are telling me Elena is defective, how could she allow such huge mark on her .
So she decided to blame Alexander and my love for Alexander is also diminished as he is weak.
Alexander was my third mate he was double stripped so I take him as my mate. And Elena was born he was always busy of Elena well I also liked her before today but Alexander was my mate so he should love me more and priortize me over everything but today he gave so many crystals to call a healer without my permission.
After sorting her inner tormoil rube said " Alexander today I see you do not asked my permission before taking crystals, and you haven't taken me as seriously as before and love me "
As rube was saying Alexander was sure today will be his last day as a sane person. And elena continued " I will break my bond with you "
After she finished speaking she cut off her skin where wolf was printed to terminate her contract as a mate .
