"Yusheng, how's the vegetable harvest going?" Yao Sanbao shifted the topic.
"Not bad, these years my brother and I have been helping Liangyou grow vegetables, it's better than working outside, better than doing small business. If it weren't for the debts I accrued before, we should be living pretty well now."
Yao Sanbao rarely blushed; he knew all too well why Bai Yusheng owed debts.
He and Bai Yusheng were classmates from primary school to junior high. Neither were good at studying, so after dropping out, they agreed to go to the big city to work.
In the first two years, in the unfamiliar big city, they relied on each other and were quite happy, even saved a little money.
Bai Yusheng didn't have big ambitions, he just wanted to work and save up money to marry a favored wife and live a warm family life.
Yao Sanbao was not satisfied; he thought if others could live such a lavish lifestyle, why couldn't he?
