Chapter 2 - Supreme Spirit Blood

The rushing wind grew louder as Xian Tiandi continued to fall through the mist.

The sound was constant now, a roar that surrounded him from all sides.

His body cut through the air rapidly, dropping faster with each passing second. While his body fell, his mind worked quickly.

The panic was completely gone now, replaced by focused thought.

"Although the novel did mention that the fall was long m, which the original spent feeling despair."

As for him?

"I'll use this time wisely."

The memories he had just absorbed were still settling, sorting themselves out in his head.

He began going through them one by one, organizing them carefully.

He remembered what was hidden at the bottom of this valley—an ancient inheritance that could change everything.

The knowledge came from the novel he had read, combined with the vague awareness the original Xian Tiandi had possessed before his death.

The inheritance was real.

It existed somewhere below, waiting in an ancient cave that had been sealed for countless years.

Finding it had been pure chance in the original story, but now he knew exactly what to look for.

In the novel, this inheritance would transform the original Xian Tiandi's weak First Grade Spirit Blood into a Ninth Grade Spirit Blood.

That power jump was enormous, something that could turn a talentless boy into a prodigy overnight.

People with Ninth Grade Spirit Blood were rare, respected everywhere they went.

Sects would fight over them.

Families would offer anything to recruit them.

It represented the peak of mortal talent, the highest grade anyone had ever documented.

But what made Xian Tiandi's heart race wasn't the Ninth Grade itself. It was something far beyond that.

He remembered one short line in the story that most readers would have ignored completely.

It had appeared only once, mentioned briefly in a later chapter when an ancient expert was explaining bloodline grades.

The expert had said there were legends of a Supreme Grade Spirit Blood that existed above all others.

The Supreme Grade was said to exist above all others, transcending the normal grading system entirely.

It was a level no mortal had ever reached in recorded history.

The novel had dismissed it as myth, something impossible to obtain.

But Xian Tiandi's mind latched onto that detail now.

If it was mentioned at all, even briefly, then it had to be possible somehow. And more importantly, that same passage had stated it was the only known way to awaken the Supreme God Martial Soul.

"Supreme God Martial Soul. Isn't that the beat path to being overpowered and unrivaled?"

That realization sent a rush of excitement through him. His pulse quickened for a different reason now. He was no longer the same boy who had fallen from this cliff in despair.

He had knowledge no one else in this world possessed. He knew the future, understood how events would unfold. That advantage was immeasurable, worth more than any treasure.

"I had read webnovels like this and always complained about how the main character could have used their future knowledge better."

He smiled in slight mockery of himself, "Who would have thought..."

"Then again..."

He recalled more about this world's cultivation system, pulling up the information from both the novel and the original owner's memories.

Spirit Blood awakened when a person turned sixteen, marking them as a cultivator. It determined their entire martial path from that point forward.

From First Grade to Ninth Grade, each level marked a person's potential clearly.

The difference between grades was massive, often determining success or failure in cultivation.

The higher the grade, the faster the cultivation speed they enjoyed.

Higher grades also meant stronger martial techniques could be practiced.

Someone with Ninth Grade Spirit Blood could cultivate ten times faster than someone with First Grade.

They could also learn powerful techniques that would be impossible for lower grades to master.

The gap was simply too large to overcome through hard work alone.

The realms of cultivation were also clear in his mind now, organized neatly from the memories.

Blood Awakening was the first realm, where cultivators began their journey.

Then came Blood Tempering, where the body was refined through spiritual energy.

Blood Condensation followed, condensing power into a more concentrated form.

Blood Core came after, forming an actual core of power within the body.

Beyond that were the higher realms—Blood Sea, where power expanded like an ocean. Blood Martial Realm, where bloodline manifestations appeared.

Blood Lord Realm, where high regeneration abilities awakened.

Blood Sovereign, ruling over blood energy itself.

Blood Emperor, commanding authority over all below. And finally Blood Transcendent—the peak before ascension to the true Cultivation World, a world many mortals are unaware of.

But he knew it due to knowing the novel.

'I was never one to skip info dumb. They called me weird but now it's gonna prove useful.'

"From what I can recall..."

Each realm had ten levels, marking clear progress within each stage.

Each level harder than the last, requiring more resources and time to break through. Most cultivators spent years on a single realm.

Some never advanced past the first few realms in their entire lives. Only true geniuses could reach Blood Transcendent and ascend.

He could still remember how the original protagonist had stopped at Ninth Grade Spirit Blood and reached greatness through it.

The story had followed his journey through all the realms, showing his struggles and victories.

He had become powerful enough to ascend eventually, leaving the mortal world behind.

It had been an impressive achievement, one that inspired countless others.

But Xian Tiandi wanted more. The thought was clear and firm in his mind. He wasn't satisfied with following a path someone else had already taken.

Why settle for Ninth Grade when Supreme Grade existed?

Why aim for what was expected when he could reach for the impossible?

His advantage was knowledge.

His opportunity was now.

As he neared the valley floor, the mist below began to swirl violently.

The patterns changed, moving in ways that seemed almost alive.

A faint light glowed somewhere in the darkness, barely visible through the thick white fog.

It pulsed slowly, like a heartbeat. That had to be the inheritance calling to him, reacting to his presence.

Xian Tiandi's eyes hardened with determination.

His entire expression changed, becoming focused and sharp.

'Ninth Grade is not enough,' he thought firmly.

The decision was made in that instant. 'I'll aim for the Supreme Grade. I'll take everything this world has to offer and go beyond what anyone expects.'

The ground was close now. He could sense it even if he could not see it through the mist. His body tensed, preparing for impact.

Whatever pain came from landing, he would endure it. The inheritance was worth any price. His future was worth any sacrifice.

The light below grew brighter, more distinct. It was definitely coming from a specific location, marking where he needed to go.

The mist parted slightly, giving him a brief glimpse of rocky ground and ancient stone structures. Then everything went white as he crashed through the final layer of fog.

His mind stayed clear even as his body braced for landing.

*Bang!*

*Splash!*

'Oh right...the main character fell into a body of water that mysteriously appeared beneath the mist...'
