She still remembered Tang Yujie's preferences and occasionally brewed tea with red dates and goji berries to nourish the qi and blood.
She poured the brewed tea into a cup and handed it to Tang Yujie.
"Please enjoy your tea."
Tang Yujie sat up straight and looked at it, a faint scent of dates mixed with the white steam rising from the tea. She reached out to grab it, but seeing Wen Tang's scalded fingertips only daring to pinch the rim of the glass, Tang Yujie's lips curled up, revealing a sly smile on her face.
"Let's try your skills today," Tang Yujie said as her fingertips touched the cup.
Her arm recoiled, and the tea splashed out along the side of the cup, landing on Wen Tang's hand and causing her to cry out in pain and pull her hand back. Tang Yujie cursed, "You fatherless thing, did you want to scald me to death?"
"Didn't your mother teach you how to treat guests?"
Wen Tang's head swirled, the pain in her hand grew increasingly intense.
