Gu Muchen glanced at her, with an air of seeing through everything but choosing not to point it out.

Gu Muchen walked her to the door to see her off.
They said goodbye at the company entrance and went their separate ways.
At seven o'clock sharp, Wen Tang returned to the Lu Mansion on time.
Sitting in the car and hesitant for a while, having prepared herself for the difficulty Lu Nianxin would pose upon entry, she unfastened her seatbelt and got out.
