Wen Tang looked forward without listening.
Lu Nianxin and Pei Heyan took their seats, with Wen Tang sitting opposite them.
Lu Minghao did the same.
The waiter distributed menus to Lu Nianxin's side and Wen Tang's side.
After the four had ordered, the atmosphere suddenly quieted down.
No one spoke. The silence was strange and uncomfortable.
Lu Nianxin cleared her throat to break the ice, "Brother He Yan, when do you plan to return?"
Pei Heyan shifted his gaze from the floor-to-ceiling window, "Not sure."
Wen Tang took a sip of orange juice.
Lu Nianxin said playfully, "I have nothing to do when I go back anyway, so I might as well stay here with you."
Pei Heyan didn't respond, leaving Lu Nianxin at a loss for words. Her gaze inadvertently caught a mark on Wen Tang's neck.
She looked closer involuntarily, causing Wen Tang to uncomfortably shrink her neck.
