She looked up at the lit-up words "In Surgery."
Her complexion took on a few more shades of worry.
The man beside her comforted her, "Don't worry, at least we've done everything we could."
Wen Tang nodded slightly and sat down on the bench nearby.
Periodically, she would glance at the door to the operating room.
Suddenly, a bottle of water appeared in her line of sight.
Wen Tang's gaze followed the hands holding the water upward, meeting Cao Yinqiong's eyes.
"Why is it you?" she asked curiously. "How did you get here?"
Cao Yinqiong tossed another bottle of water to Leizi: "Catch."
The man caught it accurately, "Thanks."
Following that, Cao Yinqiong, seeing Wen Tang still troubled, stuffed the water into her hand, raised her eyes to the operating room again, and gestured to her, "Can we talk for a moment?"
