The man took the phone and glanced at it, particularly at the bottom left corner where the body was severely damaged. He tried to force it on but found it wouldn't turn on, the screen still pitch black.
He sized up the phone and said, "It's a bit difficult. I can try, but I can't guarantee whether it will work or not."
Wen Tang pressed, "Can the contact information and some files inside the phone be extracted?"
These things were very important to her, as they included client contact information and documents received from past emails.
"This…" The worker hesitated for a moment, "Give me some time."
Wen Tang glanced at her wristwatch, "How long?"
The worker estimated, "It's not possible today."
"At the earliest, the day after tomorrow."
Wen Tang sighed, "Alright, I'll write down my cell phone number. Contact me then."
As her words fell, the worker brought over a piece of paper and a pen.
Wen Tang quickly wrote a string of numbers on the blank part of the paper.
