Wen Tang took off her coat and tidied up her hair with both hands.
"Actually, I can return to Junyue Lanshan by myself."
Pei Heyan glanced at her through the rearview mirror, "Do you find me superfluous?"
Wen Tang's hands paused, and she casually tied her hair into a ponytail, "No, not at all."
"It's just unexpected," she said, looking out of the car window at the scene. The rain soaked the roads, the leaves of the plane trees lining the road scattered on the asphalt road. The number of pedestrians was minimal. She continued, "I didn't expect that you would come to pick me up from the banquet personally."
"Fasten your seatbelt," Pei Heyan reminded.
Wen Tang came to her senses, realizing that she had only been busy with her coat and hair, and quickly fastened her seatbelt.
"As a boss," Pei Heyan responded, "when a subordinate is expanding the company's network, it seems fitting for the boss to personally pick them up from the banquet scene."
