Pei Heyan didn't refuse, and the two walked in sync towards the executives.

The man sipped his red wine, jesting, "You jest, we only met two weeks ago."
"It seems, President Pei, you've been keeping Secretary Wen quite busy behind the scenes, not even remembering when you last met. You should really cherish and value her."
Pei Heyan forced a smile and responded evasively for a couple of sentences and soon, upon the executives' request, shifted the focus subtly to the recent trends in investments.
Wen Tang grew interested and listened attentively.
