She really couldn't take it any more.
Another round, and she feared she might fall apart.
"Look how scared you are." Pei Heyan, struggling mightily to restrain his desire, shook his phone in front of Wen Tang and went to the balcony.
Wen Tang zoned out but could faintly hear some words.
"Check it out, the sooner the better."
She cradled her cup and began sipping tea.
Pei Heyan didn't hang up the phone for a long time.
She slid the glass door open and looked toward him.
The sound caught Pei Heyan's attention and ended his conversation with the other person.
Without changing his expression, he said, "I found out."
Wen Tang muttered to herself, that was fast.
She asked, "Who is it?"
Pei Heyan indulgently pinched her little face.
A red fingerprint remained on Wen Tang's face; she covered half of her face and muttered, "Ouch."
Pei Heyan spoke comfortably, "It's a big shot from the entertainment industry."
Wen Tang repeated in her mind.
