All the preparation for An Yi's childbirth is done, including choosing who will take care of her during the postpartum month. That person is the elder sister from next door, whose daughter is grown up and whose parents-in-law are in poor health. Normally, she takes care of the elderly and children at home while her husband either earns work points at the production team or takes odd jobs outside. Their family conditions are quite ordinary.
She previously agreed to give her ten yuan as a reward for taking care of her during the postpartum period.
Qin Zheng's situation was completely out of her mind; because marrying a soldier means you must be ready to stand strong on your own.
So as soon as her belly showed signs of labor, she took out the preparations for childbirth and went next door to call out the aunty.
