But in a private school, it could very well be an expensive piece of jewelry.
Very soon, the teachers came into the classroom, along with some security guards.
After a brief inquiry, a middle-aged woman, presumably the vice-principal, stood at the podium, "This is the first time something like this has happened since our school was founded!"
"I hope that this student's jewelry has just fallen somewhere unnoticed, like on the playground, or in some corner of a corridor, but it should not be in someone's pocket or backpack."
"I don't want it to become something that brings shame to both us and you, but we have to consider it."
