For the Empire, this was originally an unjust war of aggression against other nations;
and it has ended up like this.
The public, already protesting and demonstrating, became even more agitated.
This is the latest evidence that 'the Sherman family is up to no good'.
Before the war, they had planned to use the deaths of the Imperial Nobles to promote the idea that 'the Empire's prosperity today is inseparable from the contributions of the noble class' to quell the public's clamor within the Empire;
Now, this plan can no longer be realized.
There are already many people unwilling to accept the Empire's temporary defeat, attributing the military failure to the incompetence of the Imperial Nobles.
Then…
'The Imperial Nobles occupy the most resources, yet contribute almost nothing to the country. Their significance of existence—Is it just to oppress us? Is it merely the Sherman family's tool to control every aspect of society?'
This is the current rhetoric.
