"I actually failed…" Darco couldn't believe it.
He thought that he would be among those who would pass the assessment.

He only lasted for a little more than half a minute before he collapsed.

He shook his head in a self-deprecating manner.
Darco sighed wistfully as he walked away, ready to leave the fort. Since he couldn't pass the assessment, there was no meaning in staying there.
Just as he was about to leave, he suddenly noticed a warrior approaching him. From the unique insignia on the man's armor, he immediately identified the warrior's origin.
"Excuse me. Is your name Darco?" The warrior asked politely.
Darco raised his eyebrows in surprise.
"Yes. It's me. Is there something you need, sir?"
The warrior's face eased up. "His Majesty wants to see you. Please follow me."
What?!
Darco's eyes went wide like saucers.
Why would His Majesty seek me out?
