"Because in ancient times, many people were so enchanted by singing that they forgot reality. A thousand years ago, the State of Real Sound was an extreme area where one's social status was determined by singing. People farmed by singing, built by singing; almost everything could be accomplished with songs, singers and artists became the powerful rulers. Can you imagine how abnormal that society was? Everyone aspired to be a singer, yet they forgot the life before them, forgetting that many things could be achieved without song."
Qiluo expressed dissatisfaction: "But it's not ancient times now!"
"The essence of the matter is the same, it's all a fervor for fantasy," Waluo said seriously. "Kids like you always dream of becoming singers, making a name with music and art, supporting your family. But you never want to face the reality, which is that living off art is a privilege for the few, and most amateur bands' music has little value."
