The group of demons in front of the camp were looking at each other in confusion. Some had never even heard of the Fire Phoenix Clan.
"Are they part of our Demon Clan? Why do I feel like I've never heard of them?"
The Candle Dragon Demon Country sprawls across the Southern ten thousand great mountains, with many demon tribes scattered throughout. Normally, apart from interacting with nearby tribes, their living circles are small. News comes mainly from warriors returning from outside or traveling demon merchants and itinerant poets who spread the word.
So, while these demons knew something about the demon country, it wasn't extensive. But they knew about the country's eight major tribes, ten Demon Generals, the Candle Dragon Demon Emperor, and some rumors circulating in the demon capital that were spread widely and vividly.
