Deep within the Obsidian Prison,
drip, drip~ In a prison that was supposed to be dry yet damp, liquid surprisingly dripped down.
Moreover, this liquid was somewhat viscous. If observed under a microscope, one would discover a kind of "bacteria" with tongues contained within.
Once the liquid touches a living being, these tongue-shaped bacteria would immediately adhere, attempting to "restore" the entity back to its original state.
A dark-skinned girl in a coma (with a severed arm) in the prison slowly regained consciousness after part of her body was moistened.
Unfortunately,
though her physical fatigue recovered, her severed arm showed no response.
Megin suddenly woke up, only to find a gray-haired young man crouching beside her, trying to smear saliva on her severed arm.
"Master, how did you end up here? Is this saliva…"
"My teacher is helping me heal my body, and healing you as well in the process... However, it seems your severed arm shows no sign of regeneration.
