To eliminate all distractions and allow the dragon lineage to awaken in its purest form, the ritual imposed many requirements on the participant: no food three days before the start, only a small amount of clear water; no attendants allowed upon entering the venue; only the ritual yellow robe could be worn, with no additional adornments.
This was the first step of the Awakening: Purification of the Inner Body.
Unlike the typical magician who uses potions, Demon Crystals, or dietary supplements to aid awakening, the Dragon Awakening focuses on "Isolation," reducing external intake to ensure the lineage is undisturbed.
