Most of his face was obscured by the Sun Worm, with only a shield's distance between him and Tami, who could hear the squirming noise coming from the Sun Worm, and see an unknown slime slowly dripping from the corner of Solar's grinning mouth. Stranger wailing sounds emanated from his throat.
It was just like the satisfied smile one would show after fulfilling a lifelong wish, with nothing more to ask for.
"My Sun, this is it, the Sun, I succeeded...."
There was a dazed tranquility in Solar's voice, as if his consciousness was completely unaware that he was in battle, yet his body moved on its own to attack everyone.
"Tami! Solar?"
No matter how shocking the scene before them, the elite adventurers present were about to react.
"Solar turned into an enemy!" someone finally shouted aloud, unable to hold back.
This statement pushed everyone's hearts to their throats.
