Combined with its Rock Head, moves like Double-Edge or Flare Blitz would be devastatingly painful without causing recoil damage.
Unfortunately, Li Xiang sent out Heat Rotom.
Alolan Marowak had to take a different path, abandoning its greatest advantage.
"Stone Edge!"

The short, bone-clad beast let out a crisp cry. Its bone, white as jade, spun nimbly in its hands. Two balls of pale green flame ignited, transforming the bone into a huge ring of fire!
The wind howled!
Countless fist-sized brown stones shot out from within, flying through the air like arrows!
Fortunately, an emerald green round shield materialized in front of Microwave, blocking and dissipating all the stones.
Even entering the field second, as long as the distance was far enough, Protect's startup speed was commendable.
While being showered with stones, Microwave quickly gained altitude.
Alolan Marowak's Stone Edge had longer range than it expected, almost qualifying as ultra-long-range.
This flying stone technique was truly a headache for long-range attackers.
It was also dubbed Charizard's lifelong nemesis.
Mid-air, having escaped Alolan Marowak's attack range, Microwave used Nasty Plot.
A question mark appeared in the smoke.
Watching the Microwave ascend, its opponent deeply realized how troublesome Pokémon with Levitate could be.
No matter how effective Stone Edge was, it was useless if you couldn't hit.
After brief consideration, and while the Microwave hadn't attacked yet, with Tailwind still active on the field, they switched out Alolan Marowak.
Taking its place was a giant Pokémon over three meters tall, with a blue-and-green body covered in bright yellow symbols. It had brown rings on its limbs and a patch-like bandage on its chest.
—A fifth-generation Ground/Ghost-type, Iron Fist Golurk.
The king of heavy tanks in its generation! The perfect choice for giant Pokémon enthusiasts!
The key point: This guy, like a Transformer, could retract its legs into its waist and transform into a jet propulsion system for flight!
Swish!
A light sound.
The moment Golurk landed, it transformed into flight mode. With a rumbling sound, it shot up like a rocket!
The area below its waist continuously released powerful flames capable of lifting its nearly half-ton body!
Seeing Golurk fly toward Microwave, Li Xiang wasn't panicked in the slightest. Instead, he seemed confident!
'Perfect! I was afraid you wouldn't come up!'
"Taunt!"
Microwave hooked a finger at Golurk, letting out a weird, giggling laugh, successfully blocking Golurk's status-changing moves.
This thing might know Gravity. Not blocking it could lead to disaster.
Then....
"Stone Edge!"
"Blizzard!"
Both sides shouted!
In the icy field, Rzotom opened the valve on its chest, completely ignoring its current Fire typing, and spewed out a vast amount of bone-chilling wind and snow!
Stones shot through the air, colliding with the blizzard. Strangely, they didn't explode. Some were blocked, covered in frost, and fell.
Others broke through the blizzard and continued toward Rotom!
But hindered by the blizzard, these stones' speed was no longer enough to hit the wary Rotom.
Moving just a small distance to the right, Rotom easily dodged the remaining stones!
However, Golurk didn't take much damage either. Cleverly, when the frost approached, it decisively adjusted its flight direction.
It aimed the rumbling flames beneath it at the blizzard, using them to block the remaining icy current.
Flame met icy current, creating a large amount of steam that was immediately dispersed by the flames!
Admittedly, this was very effective, successfully blocking the Blizzard.
But then, it was startled into full-speed flight by clusters of fast-flying ghostly purple flames, the flames beneath it surging wildly!
Physical attackers fear Burn the most. Attack reduction means no damage output.
In the games, unless it's Guts, it's basically crippled.
Successfully tricking Golurk's positioning, Rotom decisively shed its outer armor, revealing its true form. It gathered a blackish-purple, pulsating energy ball and hurled it at Golurk!
Shadow Ball!
Golurk had no time to dodge. It could only unleash its full power, enveloping its thick fist in blackish-purple light and throwing a powerful punch!
Shadow Punch!
Two Ghost-type moves collided violently!
Boom!
Gray smoke billowed!
Golurk's entire body was covered in smoke. The symbols on its head representing its eyes flickered dimly, blurry. Only the flames from its thrusters remained bright, declaring its location to the outside world.
Shadow Ball after Nasty Plot was terrifyingly powerful. Even with Iron Fist, Golurk couldn't completely block it with Shadow Punch.
Part of the dispersed Ghost-type energy affected it, causing some damage.
Below, Rotom quickly descended to the ground, crawled back into its outer armor, returning to its Heat Rotom form.
Simultaneously, it took off again, releasing clusters of Will-O-Wisp at Golurk!
"Phantom Force!"
The opponent shouted, alerting the vision-impaired Golurk.
Faced with a move it absolutely couldn't afford to touch, this construct created by ancient people tore open the air, creating a pitch-black passage, and disappeared into another dimension.
Will-O-Wisp passed by where it had been!
Li Xiang scanned left and right, looking for Phantom Force's entry point. He abruptly found a deep passage next to a huge ice boulder behind Rotom!
"Behind you! Shadow Ball!"
As if sharing a mind, Rotom turned decisively, and toward the direction Li Xiang indicated, launched another Shadow Ball!
It perfectly collided with Golurk as it emerged!
Thud!
A dull sound!
Like a heavy object hitting the ground, heart-trembling! Acrid smoke spread wantonly over the uneven snowy ground!
But the next second, a tall blue figure broke through the mist. Its broad hands stirred the smoke as it lunged fiercely at Rotom!
In its arms was an ice boulder several times larger than Microwave, the boulder's surface enveloped in a brownish glow!

The ice boulder was suddenly crushed!
Countless stones of varying sizes tore through the air like bullets, howling toward Rotom!
Rotom had foreseen this. A green shield blocked the scattered rocks. Instead of creating distance, it flew straight toward Golurk.
This move left onlookers somewhat confused.
Seeing this, the opponent was not alarmed but pleased.
"Perfect! Let you witness my Golurk's destructive power! Unseal!"
He shouted loudly!
Not far away, the symbols on Golurk glimmered faintly, then the button on its chest shattered. The pale yellow symbols instantly turned blood red!
A terrifying energy pulsation was released on the field!
There was a rumor that the button on Golurk's chest was actually a seal. If broken, the energy inside that allowed its heavy body to fly would go out of control.
Affected by the energy, Golurk would go berserk. During this berserk state, its Attack and endurance would increase greatly!
Microwave's expression remained unchanged. Facing the Golurk descending like a demon god, it still charged forward without hesitation.
"Golurk!?"
Golurk emitted a sound like steel clanging, full of shock and anger. Like an elephant seeing an ant charging at it, it swung decisively its heavy giant fist at Rotom!
A blackish-purple light turned into a film covering the fist, with threads of smoke swirling within, dissipating as the fist moved!
'This punch could blow up a heavy truck speeding on a highway!'
This thought inevitably appeared in everyone's minds present.
It was simply too terrifying!
Boom!
The fist made intimate contact with Rotom's body. The powerful attack instantly blew it up!
'Yes!'
Rotom exploded, turning into blue smoke, it dissipated on the spot.
Many viewers with poor angles gasped, but quickly realized this was just Rotom's Substitute!
Its true body was still in front of the fist. Taking advantage of the fist's momentum being blocked by the Substitute, its chopstick-like energy hands gripped the fist larger than its own body. A black light flashed!
It twisted its body and hurled with all its strength!
Strength to move mountains and rivers, spirit overwhelming the world!
Before, there was Lu Zhishen uprooting a willow tree. Now, there's Rotom performing a backdrop on Golurk!

Golurk and the Shadow Ball collided!

Golurk, unerringly, collided with the Shadow Ball again!

The opponent watched the smoke nervously and expectantly, but couldn't see Golurk fly out.
His expression gradually stiffened.

The referee, confirming Golurk had lost the ability to battle, blew the whistle.
