Brrrrrrrrrt...brrrrrrrrt…ahhhhhhhh….boom…
Screaming echoes around the hallway from the live feeds of different players, gunshots and traps can be heard accompanying the noises within them.
Markus just came back from a little expedition down there, he contributed to another quest presented of repairing certain power switch.
He picked up some loot along the way and encountered something called KSD off a pirate corpse lying on the wall. He wasn't sure what it is and might ask Dave later.
Well, Markus actual hid something very groundbreaking to others, even from Dave when he received a different hidden mission after creating the upgraded explosive.
A hidden mission.
Within this mission, there's something that attracts eyes within its loot drop:
[Mission 1-A-X: Kill the Commander.
-Description: Now that you found one of the ways to kill the commander, contribute in killing the boss. Score the final kill and atleast deal 20% of its health to complete. After killing the boss, loot his KSD (Komputing Skill Designator) from the boarding pod. End the looming threat once and for all.
- Loot: 1x ??? Package, 1x "Cyclone" Series High-Tier Grey Armor Set, 10,000 Vc.
- Extra loot if killed within 1 hour: 5x Terynium Crystals]
[Progress: 92% health remaining]
The mysterious package. Something only appearing once in a while per update in the black market of the game. Heck, only 6 were reportedly found and sold throughout the previous update!
They are rumored to contain game-breaking equipments that are obviously hidden for a great reason.
Now he knew why the person who built the grenade hastily attempted to kill the commander without a reason, he had a extremely lucrative reward in hand!
"Well that answers why there's so many vague things about it, he knew everyone would go crazy!" Markus grinned when he realized he can earn such a great headstart that no one expects him to have.
Well…how about the KSD mentioned? Is it some rare commodity or something?
Markus pondered about what it is, finally asking Dave. Dave simply replied that its some sort of skill book in other games. He sakd that its split into 2 types, stable and unstable.
"Stable KSDs is pretty much what most give out when you buy those off the market. They give out the just the basic skill access and knowledge of a certain aspect."
"Unstable in the other hand? Good luck finding those! They risk corruption when loaded. But hey, they give huge access of informations! They may even give you hidden skills, giving you such advantage against others!" Dave continued.
"Why'd you ask this all of a sudden though?"
"I just picked up this generic unstable KSD off a pirate corpse. Might give it to you soon when we meer below the planet." Markus said as he walked once again to the entrance.
He had to excuse himself to the crowd forming on the gate to join in fighting the boss. When in reality, hes again on the move with a stronger realsn.
He ran down the corridor and got down the stairs. There, hid inside one of the rooms filled with broken electronics and dead bodies, perfect for an unsuspecting ambush of the boss.
He opened his chat menu and clicked on the live feed of the acting leader within the raiding group.
He recognized that they are also in the second floor! Just on the other side of the ship near the cafeteria.
In the feed, there are still players roaming left and right, scouting and communicating within the group for the last whereabouts of the boss. All of a sudden…..
Wham!
A hammer not so large pierced straight into a poor player standing by, killing him swiftly.
[56 of 230 players left. Resume to next scenario for everyone deceased to respawn.]
Markus shifted a little bit, he was surprised the boss was this remorseless!
"The boss is just outside cafeteria! Everyone, group on me for the final push!" The player announced to the chat and feed.
Soon, all remaining players ran down from thre safe area and joined in killing the boss within the cafeteria. Their futile attempts only tickled the armor worn by the boss. But atleast, its starting to slowly fall apart from the continuous barrage.
The boss retaliated in return by running towards the group and activating a skill.
[[Kinetic Flick Activated]]

"NO, WHY ME OUT OF ALL THESE IDIOTS! SPWBFWKLFQ@!!&?&???"
Multiple players unluckily got targeted within the range of its ability, causing them to instantly fly above and hit the ceiling.
Whoosh….
They fell once again and cracked more bones in the process. They started to die one by one thanks to the hammer flying to them at the speed of sound.

"I thought we'd corner him already? Activate the traps!" A player shouted.
Soon, the angry boss walked straight to the hidden tripwire trap while chasing someone.
[trap activating]
Whirrrrr….
Soon, pointy objects from the ceiling start to fall down the boss, causing distraction and halting him to a stop.
Seeing an opportunity, the players gave their all, activating the explosives surrounding the trap in the process, releasing a massive fireball within the area.

Unfortunately for the players, the boss stood still and remained intact. It now much more angry now. He pulled out another ability off his already-powerful ones.

"No….out of all of possible abilities, WHY THIS!" One cried.
"This is unfair as hell! Damn this game!" One replied.
Markus now knew why everyone swiftly died when the boss appeared back then, this ability was the reason! Now, he better take his chance and gamble so everyone can be saved and finally receive those rewards.
Markus started to run hastily towards the cafeteria, he had 20 seconds before he can reach the boss.
[You activated sprint ability! +40% to current speed until your energy runs out. Current available seconds based on energy level: 35 seconds.]

He appeared at the door of the cafeteria. Luckily, it was facing the other way trying to kill its last 3 preys.
It was unaware of its coming demise.
He instantly ran towards the boss, throwed the glowing grenade and shouted, "TAKE THIS YOU LITTLE TROGLODYTE!"
The boss didnt register for half a second the sudden noise behind him as was about to smash its hammer towards the last player alive.
This was perfect timing for the bomb, allowing it to bypass its protective shield and sticked straight in its neck.
The bomb whirred loudly and started to become brighter to the point it blinded Markus.
