"What do we do?" Bambietta started to panic.
Even Cang Du couldn't maintain his composure, though he tried his best to appear calm. Inwardly, he was in turmoil.
"What do you think? We fight. Or would you rather just lie down and die?"
Bazz-B demanded. Even if they were executed upon their return, that was a problem for later.
To die here and now meant no chance at all. Bazz-B wasn't afraid of death, but he still had unfinished business.
If he could help it, he didn't want to die here.
"Right, we fight. That's our only option," a fierce resolve hardened Bambietta's features.

A small crossbow appeared on Bazz-B's arm, unleashing an arrow of pure Reishi that shot towards Soi Fon the moment she appeared.
"Quincy? You dare trespass in the Seireitei? You've got a death wish." Soi Fon easily dodged the attack, then glanced at the obliterated Second Division building behind her.
A building had been destroyed. Though no one was inside, it was still a loss for her division. As the captain of the Second Division, she couldn't let this slide.
"Prepare to die." Soi Fon was ruthless. Using Shunpo, she appeared behind Bazz-B in the blink of an eye and threw a punch.
The blow landed with brutal force, sending Bazz-B staggering back, blood spilling from his lips.
'This woman is strong! According to the intel, she's the captain of the Second Division. Is the captain of the Second Division this powerful?'
Bambietta and Cang Du were shocked. A single punch had injured Bazz-B.
"Damn you, woman! Die!
Bazz-B got up, unleashing the power of his Schrift. Bazz-B's Schrift was "The Heat," and he claimed its power was the perfect counter to Yamamoto's Ryūjin Jakka.
He believed his flames surpassed Yamamoto's.
In truth, Bazz-B's flames could indeed surpass Ryūjin Jakka—but only in its Shikai state. Against its Bankai, his "Heat" was nothing.
"Where are you aiming?"
Soi Fon's figure vanished again, reappearing behind Bazz-B. With her Zanpakutō, Suzumebachi, already in its Shikai state, she instantly struck his body.
In that moment, Soi Fon could have struck a second time and ended him. But remembering Shin's order to capture them, she held back, letting the opportunity pass.
"What is this speed?!"
Bazz-B quickly used Hirenkyaku to distance himself, a sense of terror creeping in. Thankfully, her Zanpakutō's initial strike wasn't that powerful.
Her Zanpakutō's ability, Nigeki Kessatsu—Death in Two Steps—required two consecutive strikes in the same spot to be fatal. A single hit wasn't particularly strong.
'Dealing with these three like this won't be easy.'
Soi Fon's expression was conflicted. Though she was confident she could defeat them, a full-blown battle might completely destroy this area.
"Soi Fon, I'll take it from here." Just then, Shin appeared. The moment he did, Bazz-B, Bambietta, and Cang Du were instantly suppressed.
The sheer weight of his Reiatsu slammed down on them, forcing them to their knees. They couldn't even stand, left kneeling pathetically on the ground.
"What terrifying spiritual pressure..." Bambietta was stunned, kneeling and not daring to move, afraid she would be killed in an instant.
This was their target, but she had never imagined he would be this terrifying. They were no match for him.
She estimated that even the Schutzstaffel, or Haschwalth himself, would be no match for this man. This mission was a suicide mission.
"Tell me why you're here. The first one to talk gets to live. Otherwise, prepare to die."
Shin said to them calmly.
Cang Du remained silent. He would never reveal a single word about the Wandenreich.
As for Bazz-B, though he hated Yhwach, he would never betray his people. It was not something he would do.
Bambietta, however, was in turmoil. Should she save her own skin, or die a pointless, noble death?
"I'll give you one minute to decide. After that, if you still haven't made a choice, you won't need to. I'll choose for you."
Shin said with a smile. And they were no fools; they knew what choice he would make for them.
"We're from the Wandenreich, the Sternritter. We came to investigate you," Bambietta said, gritting her teeth.
"Bambietta, you dare betray us? You're dead," Cang Du stared at her with hatred.
"I don't know if she's dead, but you definitely are."
Shin glanced at Cang Du, then drew his Zanpakutō and cut off his head.
As for Cang Du's Schrift, 'The Iron,' which turned his body to steel? It was useless. He could have turned himself into diamond for all it mattered; against Shin, he was as fragile as glass. Their power levels were in completely different universes.
"Better to die here than be executed by Jugram Haschwalth."
Shin said calmly. His words made Bambietta and Bazz-B's eyes widen. He knew. He knew about Haschwalth. That meant the Wandenreich was no secret to him.
If the Wandenreich was exposed, why hadn't the Soul Reapers attacked them?
Bazz-B didn't know, and he would never find out. The hot-headed Quincy, though not entirely a bad person, had made the mistake of crossing Shin.
Did he think he could just waltz into Shin's territory and leave alive? Shin wouldn't let him go. He decisively cut off Bazz-B's head.
Only Bambietta remained, looking at Shin with terror. Was she going to die too?
"Don't worry. Since you told me your purpose, I won't kill you. You can go." Shin looked at the remaining Bambietta and said calmly.
Hearing that he wouldn't kill her, Bambietta's face lit up with joy. But then, she became conflicted. Could she really go back? Returning meant certain death.
Jugram Haschwalth would never let her live, especially since his best friend had died here. This was a dead end.
