He clutched his face with one hand, shoulders shaking, breath hitching as he struggled to calm down.
It wasn’t even that funny.
Wooheon himself didn’t know why it made him laugh so hard.
“Ghh—ha. Yeah, I guess that’s true.”
“Wait, are you teasing me? I mean, I’m right though. Nice people don’t make much. That’s what the old guardian who raised me always said.”
Yueul looked a little down.
Wooheon laughing was nice to see, but for some reason, it made his chest ache.
“Yeah. You’re right. Being nice doesn’t get you far.”
“Which is why even if you make a mistake, it’s okay to just let it roll off your back. You don’t have to keep holding on to something that happened ages ago.”
“...Understood. I’m not totally convinced yet, but... you’re not wrong. Can’t believe you’re the one making sense. That’s kind of funny. Now finish your food.”
Wooheon rested his chin in his hand, watching as Yueul picked up his chopsticks again and went back to eating.
