When the call ended, the last screen he’d seen came back up.
The chat was full of photos—scroll up, and it was still nothing but photos.
The trail of images went back a month, all of them shots of Yueul and Wooheon.
“Shit. How long do I have to keep doing this? Could just go in and snatch him already.”
He flicked the cigarette from his mouth and started walking toward the van parked farther down the street.

There weren’t many hospitals that treated anthropomorphs.
A lot of humans didn’t want to share facilities with them, and there was still a lot of social debate over whether anthropomorphs should be treated at animal hospitals or the same hospitals humans used.
Anthropomorphs themselves didn’t have much to say on the matter.
