Daimon hit the ground, using the Force to send Force shockwaves towards the Mandalorians around him. Some of them started to stumble, while those who had jetpacks, flew into the air to avoid being tied down.
Using this chance Daimon ran straight for the nearest Mandalorian and in two steps he closed the gap between them. The Mandalorian, a veteran by the way his armor looked, barely noticed Daimon in time.
Daimon swung his lightsaber from the left in a feint, then reversed and swung upwards instead. The Mandalorian tried to bring his own vibro blade up to block, but it was pointless, as Daimon's lightsaber cut right through it and cut him in half.
He then moved on, targeting the other Mandalorians in his sight.
Cortana, Lord Maxim, the two Empyrean Guards, and the four Balance Keepers had all landed and were also making their way through groups of Mandalorians shooting at them.
Lord Maxim and Cortana were leading the way with the others falling behind them. Cortana wielded her own lightsabers which consisted of a Long-handle lightsaber and a whipsaber. One of the Mandalorians tried to fly away on his jetpack, but he was suddenly grabbed by the neck with the whipsaber and slammed to the ground, dying on impact.
Next, she used her Long-handle lightsaber and began cutting a path to Daimon who had penetrated deep into the Mandalorians lines. He was now closer to where Sith Lord Krell was then a few minutes ago.
Two Mandalorians had lifted off near Daimon, flanking around and firing wrist-mounted rockets while he fought a few other Mandalorians on the ground. In a second, Daimon froze the rockets midair and then sent them back to their owners in single gesture.
The rockets hit the flying Mandalorians, killing them in the air. The Mandalorians tried to regroup time after time again, but the constant advance from Daimon and the others dragging behind, made it impossible.
Eventually, Cortana and Lord Maxim had caught up with Daimon, and they were now standing in front of the Throne Hall where Sith Lord Krell and his guards were located.
Before he could blast the doors open, however, a voice called out to him. "Emperor Daimon please wait!" a voice shouted. Everybody present turned their attention to the voice and saw a Mandalorians dressed in ceremonial armor alongside a few guards around him.
In an instant, Daimon recognized him as clan leader Konzos of clan Albest. When Daimon turned to look, Konzos bowed down, not wanting to try and fight.
"What do you want?" Daimon asked.
"Emperor Daimon if you would accept my clan's surrender, we will gladly serve you." Konzos kept his head bowed afriad that if he raised it, he might not even have time to open his eyes before he was already dead.
Daimon looked into his mind and saw what he really wanted, but he wanted to hear it from the man himself to see if he was trustworthy or not.
"Why should I trust you. Give me the wrong answer and I will destroy all of you."
Konzos gulped hearing this threat as he knew the Emperor could act on it. "I have led my clan under the leadership of the Sith for a while now, and I hate it. The Sith ignore our culture and send many of us to die in wars that bring nothing to the clans themselves. I do not trust the Republic, and I hate the Sith. But the Imperium treats its vassals with respect, and those who serve you are rewarded, not destroyed. I can see from how you fight that you offer what you promise, no more, no less." Konzos spoke nothing but the truth, not wanting to waste this chance.
Daimon could see this, but he could also see that Konzos also wanted to use this chance to rise amongst the Mandalorian clans. Which he didn't hate. In fact, he supported this since he could use Konzos as an example to the other clans or use them to destroy those that try and resist him.
"You know what surrender means right? You will serve the Imperium in all things. Your children will be born as Imperials and there will be a lot of changes to how Mandalorian society works." Daimon explained.
Konzos nodded his head as he forced himself to look up at Daimon. Daimon could see the hatred of the Sith brewing inside of Konzos because of their brief rule over the Mandalorians. His hope for a different future for his clan and people was genuine, which is something that Daimon respected.
"We will serve and accept changes as long as they are somewhat respectful of our culture. As for me and my warriors, we would rather serve under a true Emperor rather than to cowards who hide behind slaves and sorcery." voiced Konzos.
Daimon nodded and motioned for the Mandalorians to stand up. "Stand your troops down. I will hold you to your oath, and if you turn on us, there won't be a single bone left in your clan to remember the betrayal." Konzos bowed once again, understanding the consequences of his betrayal.
He turned and spoke to his communicator on his wrist resulting in tens of thousands of Mandalorians standing down across the battlefield.
From there Daimon turned around and walked towards the doors leading into the Sith Lord Krell's throne hall. Daimon nodded at one of the Balance Keepers who walked up to the doors and placed their hands on it. In the next second, the door was blown open allowing the group to walk in.
Two of the Balance Keeper remained at the entrance to watch their backs while the other two took the lead and led Daimon all the way to the main hall where Sith Lord Krell was sitting on his throne with about forty guards with him.
Most of these guards were Sith since the Mandalorians would see him as weak if he had so many guards and didn't fight for himself.
"Ah, Emperor Daimon, what a pleasant surprise. I must say, I didn't expect somebody of your reputation to be leading this invasion personally." said Krell.
"If that's the case, then the Sith have learned nothing. But it does not matter, as the Sith have outlived their independence. So, I urge you to bow down before me now, and I will spare you." announced Daimon.
Krell would've laughed at this provocation if it was anybody else, but the person standing before him was the infamous Emperor Daimon who is known for his brutality when it comes to war.
"While that is a generous offer, you muster understand that I will never bow before you. I have spent my life growing strong enough to try and rival you. Now here you are standing in front of me, yet I am unprepared." Krell laughed.
Krell stood up from his throne and grabbed his lightsaber from his waist, igniting it. The lightsaber he wielded was a curved blade that was styled to look menacing.
Daimon chuckled and didn't even grab his lightsaber as he sprinted forward. To a normal person, seeing a 10ft Gen'Dai charging at you would make their knees buckle, but Krell had fought bigger creatures in his life.
Cortana and the rest of the guard Daimon brought moved in on the forty guards. The Balance Keepers had used some Force abilities which ranged from Force Lightning, Force Choke, to Force Push to kill almost half of Krell's guards in an instant to thin their numbers.
Some of these who were Sith Lords themselves managed to protect themselves and resist. But those that didn't were killed by lightning or having their bodies smashed into the walls.
Daimon had connected his first hit with Krell's lightsaber, throwing Krell through his throne and into the wall behind it.
Krell managed to recover and get free of the wall, but he was quickly rushed as Daimon didn't let up. He had decided to not use his Lightsaber or any offensive Force abilities in this fight. He was going to beat Krell down with his bare hands and show the Mandalorians his strength.
Daimon swung his right fist toward Krell's head, which was blocked, then he kicked in his stomach causing him to cough up blood.
His head was then grabbed in the confusion and slammed into the ground repeatedly. Krell tried to recover and swing his lightsaber at Daimon in hopes of stopping the attack, but Daimon used his other hand to grab the lightsaber with his bare hand, ripping it out of Krell's hands.
Daimon then shifted his hand down to the hilt and used his strength to crush the hilt and the kyber crystal inside of it. During this he had stopped slamming Krell's head so he could see what Daimon did.
Krell at this time was panicking as he didn't even last a minute before he was now about to be killed. He was trying to think of a way out of this, but Daimon didn't give him time. He threw his across the room and towards one of his guards. The guard was busy fighting one of the Balance Keepers so he didn't even see Krell's body flying towards him.
Thus, he was smacked by Krell's body, breaking his ribs and neck from the speed that Krell was flying at. Both of them ended up in the wall with the guard ending up dead and Krell nearly dead while stuck in the wall.
Daimon rushed across the room, running through three of his guards, completely killing them before he reached the wall where Krell's body was. From there he delivered a series of punches to his last remaining vital organs until his body was lifeless.
During this, Cortana was absolutely destroying the guards who tried to come at her. Some of them thought that she would be an easy target since she was a droid, but they were proven wrong. They attempted to use Force attack son her, but her entire body was Force enhanced by Daimon which made their attacks have no effect.
They then tried to engage in sword play with her and were utterly killed. She saw the moves thanks to her intelligence before the guards even made them, making their attacks useless. Another guard tried to run at her, a Mandalorian, so she aimed her wrist at the guard and let out two small rockets which completely destroyed the guard.
The Balance Keepers and two Empyrean Guards by this point had finished their battles.
Daimon turned and saw that everyone was done and had walked up to the half-destroyed throne that Krell used to sit on.
He sat down in it and looked around the room. "I'm gonna make some changes to this building." he said noting some changes he was going to make to turn the hall into something worthy.
"Now, as I have defeated the previous Mandalore, I now hold the title. So, go and spread the word to the clans and order all clan leaders to swear their allegiance to me. Those that refuse will be killed, and their clan wiped out." The Balance Keepers and two Empyrean Guards bowed before they left to go and deliver his message to the other clans, leaving just him and Cortana.
"So, you're finally doing it huh." Cortana had been asking him to do this for decades, yet Daimon always refused as he simply didn't want to.
"It needs to be done. The same thing will happen to the Sith. Thought that will take time since we will burn our way all the way to their capital planet before I kill the Sith Emperor and then demand whoever remains to bow down to me. They had their chance to surrender, now this is their future that I have decided." Daimon had already thought long and hard about this. He would become the leader for both the Mandalorians and Sith and use them against the Killiks and Aruun.
At the same time, he will implement changes to make them better under him and for the foreseeable future, they will serve under him. The time for sitting on the sidelines was over.
