Momo cornered Jin after class.
"Jin," she said, trying to sound casual, "uh… where's your house again? I—I need to see Yozora."
Jin blinked. "Why?"
"He didn't come to school today," she said. "I just want to check if he's okay."
He smiled, all soft and polite. "Oh. You're worried about my brother."
"Of course I am," she said, crossing her arms.
"That's sweet," Jin said. "But you can't come."
"Why not?"
He tilted his head. "Because once people enter our house, they usually don't leave."
Momo stared. "…What?"
"Just joking," he said quickly, smiling wider. "Sort of."
She froze. "Sort of!?"
Jin leaned closer, voice dropping to a whisper. "If Yozora didn't tell you where we live, then you shouldn't try to find him. It means he's probably busy with something he doesn't want you to see."
Momo's throat went dry. "What could he possibly be—"
"Don't ask," Jin said cheerfully. "You'll sleep better."
He waved, walking away while humming the same off-key sailor moon theme.
