Hu Yan frowned deeply. "If we go now, we'll just end up being a burden to Kai's team… but that guy actually rushed through alone!"

"Siyao! Forget about us, run!" a teammate roared.
"I'm not leaving you behind!" Chang Siyao shouted back angrily.
She dragged a nearby teammate up, but she couldn't possibly carry all four of them away — and the Blood Hand was incredibly fast. Death was seconds away…
"Overlimit Shot!"
A chasing arrow whistled through the air from afar, slamming into the Blood Hand's back with a metallic clang!
"Leap of War!"
A furious shout echoed from the distance, and the next instant, a figure leapt through the air and smashed down beside the Blood Hand.
Boom!
With a thunderous crash, the Blood Hand was blasted backward by the impact.
Chang Siyao stared blankly at the newcomer, her clear eyes widening.
"It's… him…"
After landing, Jiang Kai immediately swung out the Hellblade. "Wrath of the God of War!"
"Tempered Chasing Arrow!"
Under Jiang Kai's frenzied assault, the Blood Hand reeled backward again and again before falling into the erupting pit.
Its body wasn't instantly torn apart, but the massive shockwave sent it flying upward helplessly.
With the Blood Hand defeated, Jiang Kai rushed to Chang Siyao's side.
"You okay?!"
Chang Siyao stared wide-eyed at him. "Why are you here too?"
"I—I'm fine. But my teammates are all in bad shape. That Blood Hand was too strong just now."
Jiang Kai nodded. Even his Wrath of the God of War hadn't broken that thing's defense. Thankfully, they were in the Fallen Minefield — otherwise he couldn't have finished it off so quickly.
Just then, Hu Yan and the others arrived. Jiang Kai saw them and called out, "Old Hu! While the beasts are distracted, get these people out of here!"
"Got it!"
Xia Hua and Dong Xue also ran over. Seeing there weren't enough hands here, they glanced once at the red pillar before them, hesitated for a moment, and decided to help.
"Jiang Kai, we'll take them out first. See if you can grab a few Blood Spirit Stones." Dong Xue said reluctantly, still staring at the crimson soil.
Jiang Kai looked back, then shook his head. "The impact's too strong. Even if I throw my divine talismans in, they'll just get blown away… I'll try to see if I can catch something that slips out."
Dong Xue nodded and hoisted up a wounded man, retreating together with Hu Yan and the others.
Before leaving, Hu Yan looked at Chang Siyao. "Miss, you should come with us. It's too dangerous here."
"I… I'll go in a bit," Chang Siyao stammered.
Hu Yan didn't know her well, and since Kai's team didn't say anything either, he didn't press her and left with the others.
Soon, only Jiang Kai and Chang Siyao remained… well, aside from the tiny creature perched on Jiang Kai's shoulder.
"Ahem, last time I wanted to find you in the Great Snow Mountain Secret Realm," Jiang Kai said, "but by the time I went back, the secret realm was already gone. Brother Zhao and I waited a few days but didn't see you return — thought you'd gone back to the city."
Chang Siyao lowered her head, glancing sideways at him. "After you knocked me out… what did you do?"

That little thing was laughing?!
