Chapter 31 - The only thing they fear is you.

Author notes 1

From now on I will take a few small creative liberties with the original work regarding this last 4 chapters of the fic (counting from this one) after all, this is a fanfic.

We'll discuss this in the author 2 notes at the end of the chapter.

….And regarding this chapter…I regret nothing.

Chapter 31 - The only thing they fear is you.

- Third Person Pov -

- Little Saint James Island -

Humanity was not always the master of the world. It wasn't always The Apex Predator.

There was an age when mankind lived in fear, when every forest was full of beasts meaning death, every animal carried fangs, and every morning was a victory over extinction.

Humans were prey, hunted by creatures stronger, faster, and far more ruthless.

But…mankind was the jewel of creation.

While other species sharpened their claws, humanity sharpened its mind. When strength failed, ingenuity prevailed.

When nature offered no path forward, humans forged one with their own hands. They bent fire to their will, raised kingdoms from stone, and transformed a hostile wilderness into their dominion.

Then mankind became the sovereign of earth.

Humanity ascended to the very summit of the food chain, not through superior muscle or instinct, but through the unrivaled power to imagine, adapt, and create.

That gift elevated them above every animal that once stalked them.

And so they have ruled the natural world ever since, for better or for worse.

But that triumph belonged only to the natural world.

In the supernatural world, the story was very different.

The sheer number of races and pantheons dwarfed humanity, and in almost every meaningful aspect they held the advantage. The only thing humans truly possessed was numbers.

But numbers mean nothing against power. Absolute power.

A million ants cannot kill a god. Nor can they defeat a high-class magician, whether human or otherwise.

Humanity stood near the bottom of the supernatural hierarchy.

When it comes to magical knowledge? surpassed.

Their cunning? surpassed.

Experience? surpassed.

 Raw strength? easily surpassed.

Even talent was scarce.

And whenever a truly gifted human did appear, they rarely remained among humanity for long. One of the pantheons would recruit them, another faction would lure them away, or they would simply be taken by force. The last one being the devils or others.

The rest of mankind was left to fend for itself.

Of course, there are supernatural powers that genuinely protect humanity, but they only deal with the symptoms, never the disease.

A stray devil starts hunting humans? It gets exterminated.

The system that allows that to happen in the first place?

Devils: haha forget about it.

It was the most natural thing, the strong take advantage of the weak.

That is why the supernatural world has ruled over the natural one from the shadows for thousands of years.

It is hardly unusual for world leaders to follow the guidance,or the orders, of their respective magical communities.

This is where devils and their contracts truly shine.

Even a low-class devil can forge pacts with wealthy politicians, influential businessmen, or powerful figures from the human world.

Each contract strengthens the peerage system and feeds the elaborate pyramid upon which devil nobility is built.

Yet there exists another group.

A race that has endured since the day Yahweh cast them out of Heaven alongside Lucifer.

The angels who became corrupted along with the original Lucifer.

Once sacred beings, now twisted by corruption.

Demons.

A race so secretive that many believe they are nothing more than myth.

For centuries, they have quietly manipulated the West.

Mostly the lands belonging to the Abrahamic sphere of influence, including England. With God dead and the angels still recovering from the Great War, few remained capable of opposing them.

Corrupting influential humans has always been their specialty.

Power. Wealth. Forbidden and dark pleasures.

Those were the chains they used to bind ambitious souls.

The owner of this island was one such man.

He had been born with the potential of a low-class magician.

His talent alone would never have carried him far in the supernatural world.

But his Demons Lord offered him something more.

Climbing the ranks of the supernatural world with mediocre talent was nearly impossible for a human.

Years of unwavering loyalty.

Countless human sacrifices offered in his master's name.

Eventually, his "god" rewarded him.

A few years ago, he was granted the power to ascend to the next tier.

He became a mid-class magician.

Now, that very man lounged on an expensive couch, calmly eating a peculiar cut of meat, one that had never belonged to any animal.

It was none other than…

Jeffrey Epstein. The man who left it all behind.

Savoring the young meat in his mouth. he was already scheming given the recent events.

Naturally, being a magician, he sensed the awakening of the new god of the Abrahamic pantheon, his pantheon.

'This changes things…Yahweh was dead so the demons had free reign but now?'

Jeffrey as usual, he began making future plans, predictions, and of course…contingency plans.

But he was no batman after all.

'Ah…I ran out of jerky.' Jeffrey thought, looking at his empty plate.

"Already finished? I hope you enjoyed your last meal then." An ominous voice said to Jeffrey from behind.

Jeffrey almost choked. Standing fast he looked back with a hint of fear.

Fucking Lucerion was standing behind the couch.

He had a serene face, but his eyes promised a world of pain.

They were not his usual eyes, bright gold, symbolizing the light within his divinity, but black ones filled with tiny stars, like a miniature galaxy, they symbolized his…other side.

Jeffrey's face paled in fear.

And that was even though Lucerion wasn't trying to scare him, not for the moment, anyway.

"W-who?" Jeffrey asked with a hint of fear.

"Lucerion, but that doesn't matter right now…after all, you're a dead man walking." The god gave him a smile.

The mind of the cannibal went fast looking for a solution.

There's no way he can beat a god, and it doesn't look like he can talk his way out of this either, so he pulls out a magic item that costs a fortune... to teleport and escape.

"Ohhh…a magic item, thank you for the loot." Lucerion said as he snapped his fingers.

*Snap*

Using Hero X reality warping powers in a controlled manner for the first time, he blew off both of Epstein's legs and one of his arms.

Blood and flesh flew in various directions due to the explosion.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" The middle aged man fell to the floor screaming in pain.

Lucerion carefully put up a barrier to avoid getting splattered with its filthy blood and stored Epstein's item (now his) in his inventory like a good looting goblin.

The god carefully approached as the man was thrashing on the floor.

'...Blood magic he is trying to summon someone.' Lucerion said getting ready for a light workout.

"SAVE ME LORD MOLOCH! SAVE ME LORD BAAL!" Jeffrey said in a crazed tone affected by the pain.

It took every ounce of Lucerion's being not to burst out laughing right then and there at what he had just heard.

The blood magic activated correctly, but no one appeared...they didn't even answer the call to say no.

After an awkward 20 seconds, Lucerion spoke.

"Maybe you should scream louder? perhaps the two of them are taking a nap." he chirped.

You could see the utter hopelessness on Epstein's face when he realized he was ignored by his masters at the doors of death.

"This is why you don't associate with demons."

*Snap*

Lucerion snapped his fingers again and Epstein's head exploded this time.

"I'm not one for torture, even when it's deserved, that is something that stains the soul." Lucerion explained to the newcomer who just entered the house.

"You are wise, captain." said Artorias, who was covered in blood.

"Already deal with the rest?"

"Yes captain. the other wicked men of the island are dead."

*Snap*

Lucerion snapped his fingers cleaning Artorias, leaving it spotless.

"I felt the presence of several children in the island's underground tunnels." Artorias said even if he knows Lucerion already knows.

"I know." He let out a sight.

Lucerion already planned to erase the children's traumatic memories, heal them, and send them to their families and for those who were orphans send them to different orphanages, but that was for later, the priority was killing the demons.

"Did you put in the necessary safety measures for the children?"

Artorias nodded. "Yes."

Lucerion positioned himself in front of the corpse and once again spoke the legendary words.

"Arise." Lucerion said to the body of Epstein.

It sickened him to bring this wretch "back to life", but it was only temporary, he needed to interrogate him.

I was going to get all the information (a more detailed version) out of him, about any evil deal or scheme, and his other locations, in order to destroy them completely.

"My king plea-" Epstein said.

"Enough. Tell me about the demons." Lucerion interrupted with a gesture of his hand.

"Of course."

He recounted what was to be expected from a piece of scum like him, the various magical experiments he had conducted on humans over the years, the sacrifices, the demons, all of the schemes, secret locations and so on.

After 10 minutes he finally ended.

Lucerion eyebrow twitch "Is that all?"

"Yes i-"

"Cancel Extraction." Lucerion didn't even wait for this bastard to finish. Epstein's shadow dissipated into nothingness.

Artorias hummed. "Some of the locations are the same," he pointed out.

"Indeed…well some of these demons will get a nasty surprise." Lucerion said with a smile.

He had already positioned all his warriors at the entrances to these demons' personal dimensions.

Of course he's not going to take any risks, he has plenty of power and numbers to spare, so he's going to send two constellations per demon, it's overkill, but it is what it is.

'Start now and follow the instructions.' Using the connection they share he gave mental command to all of his constellations to start the hunt.

Enter the personal dimensions, kill the demon, secure its body, and loot everything of value.

Super efficient, they eliminate evil and bring the body for Lucerion to extract the soul, and, of course, the delicious items.

Why the bodies too?

Lucerion is going to experiment and try to create devils arms, or demons arms in this case...If Dante can do it then he surely can with enough prep time.

The bodies could also have other uses in the future, the Shadow Monarch's powers are more like those of a soul shaman, he uses the soul but not the body. If he could get another necromancer from the gacha, he could reanimate the body as well.

Basically, killing an enemy yields double the benefits, you extract the soul as a shadow soldier and then reanimate the body with "normal" necromancy. It's basically a double drop.

That is exactly how Lucerion wastes nothing from his enemies, he keeps their items, their bodies, their souls, and the detailed information that comes with them.

Truly. The reincarnator mindset.

"It surprises me just how corrupt humans can be." Artorias said, shaking his head.

"Old families, always doing the most disgusting shit to maintain their power and status in society." Lucero scoffed.

"So the Rothschild huh…" Lucerion said one of the many names Epstein said as he started thinking of the hidden implications.

One of the many fiascos of world war 2 was one member of this family being taken with the nazis.

This family deals with demons here…

It was well known that the Nazis were investigating the occult.

Hitler moved heaven and earth to obtain the sacred relics. Basically the holy sacred gears.

The rumours said the Nazis claimed to have found the Holy Grail, (Sephirot Grail here).

It was also said that Hitler frantically sought the Spear of Destiny (True Longinus here), but judging by how he ended up, he never found it.

It's an open secret, a very popular legend, they even made a game. *Wolfenstein: Spear of Destiny*.

Lucerion connected the dots in his mind coming to a conclusion

Hitler stepped on the demons' toes, and that is why he was seeking sacred power to counter and defeat them.

The villains clashed, and the more powerful and ancient evil won.

It would have been funny if Hitler had obtained True Longinus and activated his Balance Breaker.

If the normal balance breaker of the true longinus is "Holy Spear of the Pure White Night"

Then Hitler being an important character in history surely will achieve his own subspecies balance breaker, will be something along the lines of "Holy Spear of the Pure White Race?"

"Pffffffff I will pay to see that shit." Lucerion laughed carefree at his thoughts.

"Captain?" Artorias asked.

"Nothing lets enter the dimension of the demons now."

As they walked out of the small house with white and blue stripes. Lucerion was already giving more orders to many shadow soldiers from his sacred gear.

Fucking kill off those families of troublesome evil bastard and replace them with Annihilation Maker shadow soldiers capable of shapeshifting so they don't arouse suspicion.

This is basically to prevent bloodshed resulting from the power vacuum, and to allow his soldiers to carry out his orders.

Later on, when he reigns supreme over the three factions, he will ask the angels to replace his soldiers. After all, angels are experts at carrying out God's plan...God's new plan.

It was time for The Watchers to make a comeback after centuries.

'A society free of evil, huh?' Lucerion thought with a touch of sentimentality.

Thanks to this pantheon cleansing, he will prevent many things in this universe.

From microtransactions in games, the madness of gambling, COVID, the LGBT+ agenda in all media, the loneliness epidemic.

And most importantly…avoid the destruction of the family.

"Here?" Artorias asked in front of the house.

Lucerion shaking his head looked at the infamous house, the golden dome, two statues of Moloch and one of Baal.

He raised his hands, grasping at something, and began to tear open a rift in reality, through the fissure that appeared before him, the personal dimension of the so-called Demon "God" came into view.

Both Lucerion and Artorias jumped in this new pocket dimension.

- Moloch personal pocket dimension -

The demon's dimension had a perpetually grayish sky, the ground was nothing but black and white sand, and scattered here and there were a few withered, dead trees.

What stood out most about the dimension was a mansion. The mansion was a peculiar Victorian Gothic combination.

His structure appeared twisted.

The mansion was black and gray, riddled with cracks, ancient stone gargoyles perched on the roofs, looking as though they were coated in dust.

For some reason, the panes in most of the mansion's windows were cracked.

The main entrance door was large and featured a distinctive embroidered design, with a figure possessing a bull's head and a humanoid body at its center.

The inscription on the door read "Pandemonium regnat."

Although the mansion looked quite dilapidated from the outside and gave off a strong, macabre vibe, the interior was decorated in a Victorian style and well-furnished.

Inside that macabre mansion, two demons were sitting in the living room...

"I tell thee... of late, the souls have lost their savor. They taste far worse than once they did." Baal said as he swallowed an orb of trapped souls.

The demon Baal had the more disturbing appearance of the two, he had three heads, the middle one being that of a man, with which he spoke, and the other two being those of a cat and a toad.

"Tis because these souls belonged to grown men. They are not pure...their souls have already been stained." Moloch explained even if he doesn't really need it.

"Hast thou aught of finer stock remaining?"

"Indeed." Moloch said, pulling from his inventory a tray with three soul orbs. Leaving it to rest on the tea table.

Baal, who was sitting facing forward in the armchair, straightened his back upon seeing this.

"Ohhh." the demon exclaimed, a little surprised, he grabbed an orb and swallowed it in one bite, devouring the souls.

"Delightful... all so very young. The finest of the lot." said Baal looking at Moloch in approval.

"Indeed... the last of the sacrifices. Prime cattle, indeed." Moloch devours another orb while explaining.

A single orb remained on the tray, the two demons looked at the orb, then at each other as both smiled.

The hands of the two demons blurred with speed, true to their nature, each demon sought to seize the final orb.

"Thou damned horned fiend!" Baal exclaimed with no real heat.

"Far too slow." the horned demon said, eating the last orb. "But fret not. The mortal I have taken under my wing ever brings me more sacrifices." Moloch added.

"The one who never ceases to speak of geopolitics?" Baal asked, raising an eyebrow with his human head.

"That very one."

"I noticed thy ring did glow faintly; did that noisy bastard attempt to summon thee?" Baal signaled.

"Aye, yet I paid it no heed... I am occupied, and I have no desire to trouble myself with it at present." Moloch said with scorn.

Baal chuckled.

The two demons were taking things easy; they knew about Lucerion, who had awakened a few days prior, but they didn't care much. They were old and knew that, at the end of the day, they would survive one way or another, just as they always had.

They couldn't have been more wrong.

Both demons froze as they felt a presence with them watching them.

Unlike the Epsteins, the demons sensed the presence the moment it appeared right there.

They looked mechanically at the God of the Cosmos.

It was insane, how did it invade this dimension so easily?

There was also another one in black armor, matching his greatsword and shield.

When the two demons looked at Lucerion's face in fear, they understood instantly.

Lucerion will subject them to horrors beyond their comprehension.

But the demons weren't going to go down without a fight, they were frightened, yet experienced thanks to their long lives. Both sprang to their feet quickly as their magic flared to life.

*ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR*

And with an animal roar that thundered throughout the dimension, they blew up the mansion.

BGM: Doom Eternal - The only thing they fear is you.

The violent explosion kicked up all the dust and sand.

*Snap*

With another snap of his fingers, Lucerion scattered the sand effortlessly, revealing himself and Artorias encased in a golden circular shield.

Upon seeing this, the demons' eyes went wide as saucers.

Because they understood that the god of the cosmos manipulated reality...after all, reality warpers were the most dangerous monsters.

'What a monstrous brat.' Both demons said, looking at Lucerion's young face.

Moloch, floating in the sky above the mansion, looked down and asked.

"I presume you are Lord Lucerion?" He wanted to take the polite route, it wasn't unusual for him to talk his way out of trouble,it had worked for him several times in the past against stronger enemies.. After all, deception was Lucifer's strongest weapon.

"I will fight Moloch, Artorias you take Baal." Lucerion ignores the demon words.

The two demon's eyes widened in surprise, but they acted quickly, Moloch drew his staff and raised it into the air, while Baal lent him his power. The two demons were pulling out all the stops against Lucerion, for if they didn't, they would die.

Magic circles flare to life across the entire floor of the dimension.

"Ahh of course…the personal demons legions of you two." Lucerion rolled his eyes.

Around ten thousand demons were summoned as sand from the dimension splattered against them.

They were of a much lower rank than Moloch and Baal.

They were his children and his flesh-crafted creations, over the course of centuries, they had assembled this army, and it was more than just decent.

"This brings back some memories." Artorias said. "Like old times captain?" He added.

Lucerion just smiled.

He removed his beautiful crown and put on the dragon slayer's helmet.

"Of course my friend. Like old times." Lucerion said, pulling out the dragon slayer spear.

Both knights stood back-to-back against the demonic hordes, fully ready to rip and tear until it was done.

(Image)

From the heavens, Moloch fired a black magical beam, demonic black magic, attempting to snipe them from a distance.

Both Lucerion and Artorias blurred inside the horde of demons as they entered stabbing and slaying with their respective weapons.

As Lucerion tore holes in the demons' bodies, an amusing thought crossed his mind.

'I could snap my fingers and end it all, but where's the fun in that? Besides, I wouldn't want to ruin it for Artorias.'

As a knight, Artorias would sever both heads and limbs while wielding his gigantic greatsword with one hand.

He used his shield to block and strike the demons; whenever it slammed into the head of one of the hellish creatures, the head would explode in a spray of blood, sending teeth flying like shrapnel.

Of course, Lucerion was constantly upgrading his Annihilation Maker monsters, and Artorias was no exception.

The two of them carved their way through the horde in a churning vortex of blood and pain, while demonic magic flew through the air, seeking to strike them.

Lucerion dodged, blocked, and even shattered the magic circles before they could activate.

"Disrespectful bastards!!" roared Baal as he activated the detonation of some flesh creations.

The bodies of some demons near Artorias and Lucerion swelled up, on the verge of exploding.

But Lucerion was Lucerion.

He quickly teleported, and also teleported Artorias.

"What?! How is it possible for you to teleport within my dominion?" asked a perplexed Moloch.

"Because you are a scrub." Lucerion taunted.

To this day, he remains grateful for Le Fay's template, and his immense talent for teleportation magic.

"Time to get a bit serious." He said and Artorias nodded.

The two of them soared through the skies toward the two demons at breakneck speed.

Lucerion riding the storm, accompanied by lightning bolts.

Baal fired magical beams at them, which were easily dodged, while Lucerion circled around behind the two of them.

Moloch didn't hold back, firing off his own shots and getting blocked.

Lucerion was enjoying the fight, he could have activated Dimension Lost and stripped them of their advantages, but he didn't... it was about to end anyway.

Lucerion suddenly accelerated, kicking Moloch in the back and sending him crashing to the ground in a divebomb.

Baal, who was nearby, drew his purple-and-gray sword with the intention of striking Lucerion, but the latter quickly blocked the blow just as Artorias charged at him, tackling him down to solid ground.

'Baal is cooked.' Lucerion thought.

Going CQC and getting within range of Artorias? Good luck.

The dark giant was a legendary hero after all.

He looked down at a Moloch pulling its body out of the sandy crater after being impaled alive.

"Time to show off a bit before the end."

Lucerion extended his arms, spreading his fingers as well, he tensed and relaxed them.

Small, brilliant white sparks shot from the tips of her fingers.

"Zoltraak."

White streaks shot from each of Lucerion's fingers.

Not only that, Lucerion's Zoltraak was a homing attack, seeking out and piercing through every demon in the horde.

The flash of white lights was like fireworks.

Each demon was pierced through the brain and heart.

Moloch looked at Lucerion in a combination of fear and awe.

Why did this magic scare him so much?

Moloch tried to stop Lucerion but couldn't find his staff anywhere, he scanned the ground and the surrounding area, but he had lost it when it was driven into the floor.

Little did he know, his staff was already in the inventory of Lucerion, the god of the cosmos being a hoarder, as usual.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHGR!" Moloch roared in pain as two Zoltraaks cut clean his legs, falling to the floor again legless.

Lucerion slowly descended, his magic still active as Zoltraak spells flew wildly, the moment he touched the ground, all the demons in the horde perished.

"Before I kill you, why do you call yourself a demon god? I don't see a shred of divinity in your being." Lucerion studied him, fixing her gaze upon his being with eyes like galaxies.

Moloch was too stunned to respond, he couldn't believe what he saw...and what was about to happen to him.

"Well goodbye."

"W-WAIT! PLEASE WAIT! LORD LUCERION PLEASE DONT KILL ME." Moloch begged in a desperate tone.

Lucerion drew the Demon King Baran 's sword, it seemed fitting for the situation.

Not for a second he considered the words of the fallen demon.

"PLEASE LUCERION ILL SUCK YOU FUCKING DICK!" The demon spoke, losing all dignity, he no longer possessed the noble tone with which he had previously spoken.

"YOU WANT ME TO EAT SHIT? ILL EAT YOU FUCKING SHIT! PLEA-"

Lucerion drives the sword downward and activates its lightning.

In his final moments, whether due to magical affinity or those rare, fleeting instants at the end of a being's life, Moloch was able to see something.

He could see two overlapping silhouettes against Lucerion, one was a warrior clad in green plate armor, and the other was a tall, gray demon with a mane of magical white hair.

Moloch didn't know their names, but they were the Doom Slayer and Baran.

He also understood why Lucerion was the most brutal of them all.

With Moloch beheaded and dead, he was the last one, it was finally over.

Lucerion put his sword back into his inventory and gazed at the horizon, letting out a sigh.

"Reincarnators, transmigrators, whatever people call them, they're just like this…" He said to himself.

They can come in many shapes and forms, but the standard must always be maintained.

Calm as a river, keen as a fox, powerful as a god, kind as a saint…and brutal as a demon.

And this is the superior mindset crushing the inferior mindset.

The demons lost because they were weak, their evil mindset failed them.

After all, what is evil? Whatever springs from weakness.

"Finally people can really rest."

Lucerion gazed at the horizon, all the innocent souls consumed by the demons were shooting upwards, dissipating and fading away as they crossed to the other side.

"Captain." Artorias nodded, carrying the dead body of Baal.

Lucerion noticing everything was ready he snapped his fingers carrying all the bodies and items into his inventory.

"Let's go, this pocket space will crumble, we take our time having fun so the others will probably finish already."

Inside his golden dracula castle given by the gacha floating in the void of space.

Of course, Lucerion modified it, it was no longer a vampire-themed castle...now it was an ethereal (some parts) golden castle.

The constellations having already run their course, they had piled up all the bodies of the other demons and all of the valuable items, placing them in the castle treasury for their king.

Apparently, all the constellations successfully fulfilled their mission, as they were all present.

Lucerion appeared in the room with Artorias.

When they saw him, all the constellations fell to their knees.

"My king, we killed all the demons as you ordered, No one failed." Leo said hand on his heart

Lucerion was about to nod when his eyes caught the female knight of gemini.

She was lacking an arm.

He sent her with the Scorpio Knight to fight the demon Paimon.

He approached the pair and asked them calmly "What happened?"

"My king…Paimon was strong, He possessed cosmic knowledge and used his dimension to his advantage very effectively." Escorpio explained.

"Paimon huh?" Lucerion looked across the room at Paimon's dead body, it was unrecognizable... poisoned too.

"Good job." he told them.

So Paimon was possibly stronger than the self-proclaimed demon god Moloch...Lucerion didn't know that...It seems Paimon did possess cosmic knowledge, but in the end, he died and is now basically emergency food.

The King of the Stars drew the Rod of Arafel from his inventory, it not only healed Gemini's arm but regenerated it entirely with divine light.

"Thank you, my king." Gemini kneeled again in gratitude.

"So this are all the bodies…" He looked around.

All the major demons in the world are dead now.

Moloch, Baal, Belphegor, Aamon, Astharoth, Baphomet, Mammon and others.

Many lower ranked demons, subordinates of these as well.

"Arise." Lucerion said.

The bodies of all the demons trembled as their shadows knelt before Lucerion.

- Gates of Heaven -

In the next day Lucerion was holding the true longinus in his hand walking with two other people, about to pass through the gates of heaven.

"I can't believe I'll see the day a devil passes through the gates of heaven." Azazel said. "Nervous?"

"...Yes." Sirzechs admitted with a nod.

"Well, history is being made today... Azazel, do you have those cameras to record the important things?" Lucerion asked.

"They are...already making me work so much." Azazel shaked his head playfully.

"But you only work like once a year, don't you?" Lucerion asked.

"What a slander, I worked hard this time." The fallen shamelessly said.

Lucerion delegated all the recording for the devilnet to Azaze because he wanted to play around with Xenovia.

And Azazel delegated to Shemhazai because he wanted to play around.

Of course, they're following Lucerion in all this now, after all, who could say no to a god of such power? But since Lucerion is more than reasonable, they're perfectly fine with it.

This is the total rebirth of the Abrahamic pantheon.

Of course, Azazel had no issue with it, the fallen never cared for ruling, and they are the smallest of the three factions. After some negotiation and persuasion, and once Lucerion demonstrated his new Sacred Gear, "Star Buster Star Blaster", Azazel immediately agreed, in exchange for the chance to study that new Sacred Gear.

It's more complicated with Sirzechs...he said yes, and the Old Satan Faction no longer exists thanks to Lucerion…but Zekram and the Great King Faction are still around...though Lucerion is going to handle that in a couple of hours with a bit of his "convincing."

The gates of heaven opened, and Michael and a woman of incalculable beauty came to welcome them.

Lucerion looked at Gabriel and THOSE HEAVEN DEFYING BREASTS OF HER!

'DxD…Yahweh knows exactly what he was doing.'

He easily understood why she had so many fans in the DxD fandom...calling her the beauty of Heaven was no exaggeration. Her popularity in Heaven was clearly well-deserved.

"Now I understand why you wanted to go full Alabama with her." He said to Azazel.

Azazel winced a bit, placing his hand behind his head with a shameless smile.

Sirzechs just chuckled.

"Hear those rumours too?"

"Yep." Lucerion said with mirth.

Author notes 2

Yeah…this chapter did happen.

Let 's talk.

This chapter wasn't supposed to exist... as you probably know, the whole thing with the files realising, the whole "PDF gang" saga, came up months ago.

And I thought, "Hey, I can use this in my fanfic." making a cameo with Epstein as a minor secondary villain and some Hitler balance breaker shenanigans…crazy but funny. Basically the demons being the bigger thread.

It makes me laugh because the idea kept evolving, and I ended up covering all the demons.

Anyway, I had a lot of fun writing this, and it made me realize something…

I was holding back a bit with you guys.

To me, fanfic authors have to be shameless and a bit wacky.

Authors like that are the ones I enjoy reading the most, and I enjoy writing that way the most myself.

I was definitely a bit hesitant to write something like this... but oh well, I decided to let that go and take a leap of faith... into madness, lol.

It reminded me a bit of the early chapters of this fic...back in the first nine chapters, I was definitely a lot more wild, so to speak, and there were quite a few grammar errors, too.

Well, later I started making more grammar corrections, discovered the Holy Grail for authors, which is Google Docs, and here we are…

Honestly, this chapter marks a turning point for me, haha, I felt like I improved as an author and understood something that used to make me laugh about other authors.

-The rewrite topic

Obviously, I'm not going to do a rewrite right now...but I've come to understand the authors' need and desire to do one...I used to consider it foolish and a waste of time.

Above all, I felt the need to improve the first few chapters, which are a bit of a tough read.

I am aware that I could edit the chapters, but I don't want people's comments to get deleted, so I'm not going to do it.

It's going to stay this way...and sometime in the distant future, I might start a side project in parallel to create a remake of this fanfic.

Remake not remastered.

It's not just about correcting the grammar but adding more content, that's precisely why it would be a rewrite-remake, so to speak.

Anyway, that's basically it. First, I'm going to finish this. I've already dragged it out quite a bit for 34 chapters...fair, I'm busy and I have other things to do, but it's time.

I know the average is 1.5k to 2k words. Well, this chapter is a little over 5k words, not counting the author's notes, lol.

One last thing.

I won't be including author's notes 1 at the beginning of every chapter anymore, these are the last ones. From now on, I'll put everything in a single author note at the end of the chapter.

Hope you enjoyed this chapter like me.

See you guys in the next one bye.
