"We should do the combing ceremony." Both the elders are holding a highly decorated wooden box.

Both of them walked. Zan Guiying sat in the chair.
Both grandpa's gave him the box. He opened it. From inside, he took a golden comb.
Keeping the box aside. His hands moved towards her neck.... His index finger ran through it, gently touching her neck...

Everyone clapped.
"The ceremony is over. Now the bride and groom should go to the wedding venue!" Elder De announced.

She looked up.

In the second announcement, Zan Guiying entered, wearing a matching outfits and covering her face. Her father is holding a red umbrella above her head. And her mother is holding a silver pot filled with rice. Grandpa Zan took rice and threw it above the umbrella to ward off the evil.
