Back in the primary vault, Ren cast a grim look at the cavern walls.
The crystallized network was still undergoing a massive, terrifying transformation, it was melting back into living meat. That day's ice-like purple structures like veins that had contained the global corruption for years were actively melting across the stone, softening rapidly and would end releasing the pulsing horrors slumbered within.
Ren had no way of confirming whether thousands of monstrous beasts could pour out of those lines again like that day. He wasn't even sure if the correct question was "if" or simply "when".
But he was not going to stick around to find out.
