Max stared down at the vast crater carved into the ground and did not entertain even a single thought that the previous strike had ended the battle. If Mark could be killed so easily, then the name immortal evil god would have been nothing more than an empty joke spoken by fearful mortals.
"Hahaha."
As expected, Mark's laughter echoed from within the depths of the crater, distorted yet full of vitality. The shattered land trembled as his presence surged upward once more. "Who would have thought," Mark said with undisguised amusement, "that the small genius from the Lower Domain, the one I could once manipulate with a flick of my hand, could now fight me on equal footing."
