The energy here was incredibly dense. It wasn't just divine energy. It was older, heavier, more primal. Every breath carried a strange pressure, as if the air itself held fragments of a beginning from before most races had ever been born.
Far in the distance, Max saw a colossal palace big enough to hold a world inside it. Its pillars were carved with images of ancient beings standing above stars, suns, moons, dragons, phoenixes, titans, and countless other races. The palace didn't give off any overbearing pressure, yet Max could feel it was watching everything.
Sarvion stopped beside him. "Welcome to the Primordial Ancestral Domain."
Max looked out across the floating continents. "So this is where the Primordial Race lives."
"One of our ancestral domains," Sarvion corrected calmly. "Not the only one."
Max's eyes flickered slightly. One of them. That alone said something about how deep the Primordial Race's foundation went.
