Now that the thieves had been apprehended, the night had turned calm once again. Fudge tied up the knocked-out robbers using their own rope and gathered them up in one bunch.
Michael was about to speak when, all of a sudden, he felt another presence emerging from the wilderness.
"There's someone coming," he said.
The approaching person's pace was steadfast and firm, completely opposite to that of the thieves who had sneaked around with malicious intent.
And even if the moon offered only a sliver of its light, it was enough for Michael to catch a glint of steel reflecting off the steel armor worn by this figure.
Moments later, a man clad in full metal armor stepped into their camp.
The chocolate merchants looked at this stranger with wide eyes, surprise and excitement glinting in them. They recognized him from the insignia on his chestplate.
"Forgive me for intruding. I am Sir Jon, a Knight from the Order of the Heavenly Knights," the armored man said as he introduced himself.
