Duke Stelmane sighed as he surveyed the aftermath of the fight. The roof of his castle lay in ruins, with shards of glass and chunks of stone littering all around the courtyard. The walls had a gaping hole in the middle, offering rudely-awakened people from the city to peek at what had happened in the castle.
"This is what happens when a boy is given more power than he can handle," Duke muttered under his breath.
Unfortunately, such incidents were not uncommon in the Queens region. The inheritors and heirs of large companies tend to be managed by the founders' children and family members, who were often unprepared for such a large responsibility.
There were only very few exceptions where successions ended well.
And it seemed like the golden-haired boy standing before him was one of those rare exceptions.
