The idea was simple: at the entrance of every town, there would be a toll booth to grant travellers access to the Golden Road. Once they had paid a certain amount, they would receive one of his Shadow Clones to escort them throughout the journey. This clone would guide and protect them from the Unity Flames of the [Gate of Rebirth], ensuring a safe journey.
