He descended into the shadows and emerged at a discreet corner in the central town of the Grafted Cluster—one of the many territories isolated from the outside world.
Looking up, he saw a flaming sphere covering the entire region, preventing even birds and clouds from trespassing onto their property.
The whole town itself was divided into two distinct sections—one made out of wood and natural resources, and the other made from stone. This split mirrored the ongoing rivalry between the two brothers: Barcus, who controlled the wooded area and Bulren, who controlled the stone one.
