Meanwhile, in the deep recesses of the forest east of Angora City, there lay a cave hidden in plain sight—shrouded in moss and overgrown weeds, that most people would easily mistake for an abandoned, empty patch of land.
However, this seemingly forgotten place was the very secret hideout of the infamous Bastard Bandits, who claimed the forest as their own territory.
Inside the cave, the bandits wore fancy but mismatched pieces of fine armors, jewels and all sorts of expensive equipment. But one must not confuse them with the wealthy type, for they had gotten their hands on these items thanks to stealing and robbing merchants who failed to pay the fee before entering the forest.
Most people would find it rather absurd to see a bustling community in this cave. Yet, the Bastard Bandits had dug out an elaborate network of tunnels and chambers, carving a miniature village, with designated districts and regions, each serving a specific function or purpose.
