Head Harold and Elder Hugo left the room so as not to disturb them. Once they were gone from the place, there was no one here except Jeremy Night and Melinda.
Jeremy opened his eyes. His eyes flashed with complexity. To be honest, he was awake all this time. He had heard the conversations of the elders.
He was right. It was Head Harold who sent Tier-7 Elders to protect them in secret. He had underestimated the threat.
He didn't expect the Head of the Hill Family to be this mad. He had used both the Darkshade organization and his own forces to try to attempt to kill him.
Now he thought it won't be easy to step outside the city gate. If he enters the wilderness, then he may come across more dangerous assassins.
He shook his head before pushing down the thoughts. He can't do much with his current level. But he believes Head Harold must have a plan to solve the problem.
After gaining some clarity, he feels light-headed. He then closed his eyes to sleep.
