Ethan's expression gradually became serious.
'Law of Devouring, huh...'
The thought echoed through his mind as the image of the enormous spiral rune surfaced in his consciousness.
So that strange rune wasn't merely some peculiar phenomenon.
It was the supposedly so-called faintest trace of the Law of Devouring.
And judging from the Eterna Nexus's explanation, Law Power existed on a level far above ordinary mana or elemental energy.
But there was one sentence that made Ethan's thoughts suddenly turn cold.
Residual Law Power.
Since he had never possessed Law Power before this moment, where, or to be exact, from whom had that residual power come from?
Ethan's eyes narrowed, and his mind turned chaotic from various possibilities.
