Third Person POV

"Mommy... daddy..." Madara and Ciri's eyes turned toward the boy's bed.

There was no moon in the sky that night to show how late it was, but it was quite obvious that, after they had dinner, a few hours had passed in conversation with their son.

Ciri took the initiative to tell some stories from the books they had acquired throughout their travels between worlds. There were all kinds of cultures and ideas that distinguished one world from another, since the possibilities were infinite.

Stories about heroes, villains, and monsters were influenced by various cultures and different minds spread across countless parts of innumerable worlds.

Ciri herself enjoyed reading them, already thinking about the day she would return here and filtering what she should or should not show her son.

She had a magic that accelerated reading and comprehension, so it wasn't difficult to say that she had already read nearly 10 thousand books during her free time throughout those years of traveling.

In any case, Aren wasn't used to staying awake so late. He fought with all his strength to keep listening to his mother's stories until he finally had to surrender to sleep.

Madara entered the room at that moment, seeing his wife on the bed watching the child sleep. He had already organized everything downstairs, finding Ciri gently caressing Aren's face while he slept.

"Well, you have to admit he fought well against sleep..." Madara said in a calm tone while displaying a tender smile without taking his eyes off their son.

It was evident that Aren had already been sleepy since they had finished dinner.

"I should have helped you clean everything up. I'm sorry..." Ciri murmured, turning toward Madara.

But he shook his head. "It's alright."

In truth, Ciri was usually the one who cooked and cleaned the places where they stayed. She had never seen any problem in serving her husband in those aspects, but today he had done everything.

"It's alright. You deserved some time with him," Madara didn't mind.

He believed that Ciri should have the first contact with their son. She herself had longed for that for years, so it was quite obvious to leave that to her.

"Tomorrow I want him to eat my cooking..." Ciri soon murmured.

Madara merely nodded with a small smile while also moving beside Ciri to watch the boy sleeping.

The bed had also been built by Ciri, who had been instructed in the arts of transfiguration and had become truly skilled at it.

"Look how peacefully he's sleeping..." she murmured, still running her fingers through the boy's hair before turning toward Madara.

"You can feel it, can't you? Can you take a look at his body...?" she asked while Madara activated the Sharingan.

He easily saw the flow of chakra coursing through the boy's body, but he could also feel magical energy. Even though it was weak, it was still there.

"He was born with a body that possesses both magic and chakra, but perfectly fine, and the two elements are behaving well within his body..." Madara said, something he had already confirmed since he saw the baby after the birth 3 years earlier.

There was a flow of chakra inside him, while now, that night, it only served to confirm that everything was alright.

The chakra was quite powerful, even for a 3-year-old child. He already had as much chakra as an elite Chuunin rank, which showed that the boy was born with great potential. And he could also use magic, since that power was inside him as well.

'He possesses more than Ciri had by the age of 10,' Madara thought.

Even though it was still a latent ability, more than 16 years earlier, Ciri had also shown traces of magic in her body since the age of 6, when they met.

Even so, Aren has more magic than his mother possessed at that time.

"Which means that this will increase a lot..."

Madara began explaining to her everything he was seeing to Ciri. He even released the Rinnegan, through which he could better see the latent energies.

Ciri nodded as she saw that. "He has to be trained."

"And he will be. He won't have any of the problems the two of us had," Madara said.

After all, Madara had difficulty learning about his own power. He had received it through the system, until unlocking all the abilities the original Madara possessed, of course, all the power before becoming the Ten-Tails jinchūriki.

Obviously, he learned many more things along the way than simply following the traditional model.

That had even shocked the Naruto ninja world when they entered one of those worlds, since the Madara of that world had fought against Madara himself amid the chaos of the Fourth Great Ninja War... Since the timeline was exactly that one they had entered...

But that was a story for another moment.

"Yes. He will be trained from an early age... and in Cintra," Ciri agreed with his words while they were about to get up so she could lead her husband to their room.

But something caught both of their attention. They both turned their gaze directly toward the window, toward the enormous lake, able to see a white light emerging, slightly illuminating the darkness of the forest.

Madara immediately moved forward, jumping through the window and leaving Ciri behind as he landed on the pier that was usually used for fishing whenever they stayed there. He walked to the edge and looked at the light beginning to fade in the middle of the lake...

A green glow appeared right beside him while Ciri also stared in shock, looking at the white light.

A phenomenon that had never happened before whenever they spent time there.

Madara still had his eyes activated with the Rinnegan and could clearly see what was above the light. "A unicorn... and one we know very well," he murmured as the light grew weaker and weaker.

There, upon the water, the white unicorn walked. Although there was still a bit of glow, it was possible to see him perfectly, with intelligent eyes staring at them with a strange expression. He neighed joyfully.

"I can recognize his magic too... Eira?" Ciri murmured beside Madara, her mouth opening in shock.

The unicorn took a step. 'So you recognized me. That's good. I didn't know how to reach you until tonight...' His voice echoed directly in both of their minds.

"It really is you!" Ciri immediately jumped onto the water. But she didn't sink.

Since she had copied many of Madara's abilities through her magic, walking on water as if it were solid ground was something she had learned to use through her magic. After all, it was quite useful to be able to move across all kinds of terrain.

She had even learned to walk on walls or any structure, attaching her feet anywhere regardless of where gravity pulled her. That allowed her to move through any environment and have greater combat versatility.

In any case, Ciri was already on top of the unicorn, touching his head while Eira neighed and closed his eyes.

Madara went to their side with Hiraishin. This was no longer the foal whose mother they had let take away. Now he already had the size of a great steed.

"It's been almost four years since we last saw each other. Eira... You really grew," Madara said.

"Yes. But I've been looking for you for more than two years," he admitted. "I didn't know how to return to that temple, but I tried searching for any traces of your magic. I couldn't recognize any other than Ciri's magic, unfortunately. However, there was no sign of you during the last two years... until tonight, when I sensed her magic."

That made Madara look at Ciri, who returned his gaze as well.

"That makes sense. Although I'm surprised you could track Ciri's magic. We were outside this world for more than three years and were taken through a portal, ironically, by another adult unicorn," Madara said.

A surprised expression appeared in the unicorn's eyes. "That makes sense... Not even my mother managed to find your existence," he said.

"Well, let's head back to the castle. What do you think? We can talk there," Madara said.

He knew they had a lot to talk about and that night would not end easily.

Madara merely left a clone in Aren's room to keep watch over the shadows, and the original ended up grabbing another bottle of wine, since they still hadn't finished during dinner, and they returned to drinking while talking with an old friend.

At some point, Aren woke up in the middle of the night hearing laughter and conversation. His eyes immediately went to the open window while he could still see the castle lights on, but no sign of dawn breaking.

He jumped out of bed, rubbing his eyes as he walked toward the window, knowing he could hear his mother's laughter downstairs.

Could they really still be awake at this hour? And what he found when he lifted his head above the window, stretching on his toes, was his mother sitting beside his father while they drank from their glasses, but there was a huge white horse with a horn in front of them, talking?

The three immediately looked at him the next moment, noticing his eyes. That startled Aren a little, and he quickly ducked down.

"So that's him..." A calm voice, one that didn't sound human nor belong to his parents, was heard.

Even though he had only met Madara and Ciri that day, Aren had already heard enough to recognize their voices anywhere.

His eyes immediately peeked back through the window, carefully.

"Yes. Our son," Ciri replied proudly. She stood up from where she had been sitting beside Aren's father, leaving her cup on the deck.

Then she disappeared with a green glow in the next moment. Aren felt the glow coming from behind him while two hands grabbed him under the arms.

"AHHH!!!" The boy screamed in fright.

"Hahaha, got you, Aren!" Ciri exclaimed, grabbing her son while seeing him startled, beginning to laugh at that reaction.

Ciri pulled him close, laughing loudly at the boy's fright as she dragged him into a bear hug.

He looked at her a little frightened. "Did I scare you?" she laughed. "You should be sleeping!"

She stared at him with a silly smile. Certainly, he had looked very sleepy before that scare, but now his eyes were completely wide awake.

Ciri could only laugh.

"What are you doing, mommy?" he immediately clung to her neck and buried his face against it, murmuring full of embarrassment.

Ciri immediately regretted scaring him like that upon hearing the slightly tearful sound. "Well... sorry about that," she immediately said in a sincere tone.

"Are you alright? Sometimes mommy acts like a little brat. Your father calls me that sometimes, and he's right... But I just wanted to play with you, son." He pulled away from her and looked at her while Ciri still displayed a small apologetic smile.

"Do you forgive mommy?" she insisted.

The boy, although still a little frightened by that, nodded. That immediately made Ciri's smile grow even wider.

"Do you want to sleep or do you want to come outside? Your father and I were going to sleep, but we found a friend... A very old friend. Do you want to meet him? He's a unicorn."

"A unicorn? Grandma Nenneke told me about one you had!" he remembered.

After all, the unicorn had stayed at the temple for many months before Madara brought Eira's mother to take him away.

"Yes. He was a lost little boy who stayed with us right after your father and I got married. Now let's go see him," Ciri said, already realizing that her son was not going back to sleep.

"Grandma said daddy had a dragon too!" he remembered.

"Ah, that... that's a story for another time, first let's go see Eira." Ciri decided, and she teleported while Aren saw the entire place glowing green around them before reappearing in the middle of the deck.

Ciri immediately presented the surprised Aren to the unicorn in front of them.

"Look, Eira. This is our son, Aren, Aren Uchiha," she said excitedly.

The unicorn stared at the child. "Interesting... It's a pleasure to meet you, Aren," Eira said. He didn't need to speak mentally.

Ciri looked at her son, who seemed lost, while she laughed and pulled him close. "Aren, you have to greet people too. Like saying something normal: 'It's a pleasure, Mr. Eira.'"

Ciri instructed before placing Aren in front of the unicorn.

"Um... I'm Aren..." the boy said, somewhat uncertain.

But he still had a sparkle of excitement while seeing the unicorn in front of him for the first time, even though that excitement carried a bit of shyness.

Ciri laughed at that and soon sat beside Madara while placing Aren on her lap, hugging him to keep him warm. She cast a spell on him so he wouldn't feel cold under the open sky.

"Did you know that he saved mommy when she was pregnant with you, Aren?" Ciri began to say.

Aren looked at her in surprise, shifting his gaze between Ciri and Eira while she began telling the story about how she had fallen ill, but thanks to a spell the unicorn had created, he managed to protect her.

That was because the energy that only daddy had was also born with him and was harmful to Ciri during that stage of pregnancy, but Eira discovered a way and created a spell that prevented chakra from entering Ciri's body.

The conversation continued for the next few hours there, while Aren began hearing more about his parents. At the same time, Madara and Ciri listened to more about what Eira had done during these past years, since they could also travel between worlds.
