Connor
"I didn't trust you anymore," I opened my eyes and found myself shocked that tears were running down my cheeks. "You were my mom, Macy. You were the only mother I had and when you took Melanie I thought that you made your choice. I felt like an outsider."
"You were never an outsider to me," she held the sides of my face and brushed away my tears. "You were never an outsider to me. I raised you Connor. I loved you more than your father ever did and being away from you hurt me so much there wasn't a day that didn't pass that I wouldn't tell Melanie about you.
"That's why she knows so much because I didn't want her to feel separated from you. When I met Kevin I told him about you. I've always felt like your mother. I watch your games and even though I know I can't be there for you I told myself that one day I'd be able to tell you my piece. I prayed one day you'd see your father wasn't a saint like how he portrayed himself to be."
