I don't want to give Vasilisa more ammunition to not like me. She's wary, she pretends she's not but I can feel it. I just can't take the suspicion. "You mean you had a lonier life when you were alone," he sighed. "I've enjoyed seeing you so happy these past few months. Past a year actually."
"I enjoyed being happy too," I looked down to my sneakers, "I enjoyed being happy with everything in me." I looked up to the sky and tried to will my tears away but they seemed to get the better of me. I tried to wipe them away before Gabe could see but I knew he already had. "I love him Gabe, I feel empty when he's gone and I can't sleep without him next to me. It breaks me.
