Oksana with a quick kiss to both our cheeks and security taking her bags out of my car into Walter's, disappeared as soon as her Prince was there it whisk her away. That left Edward and I alone not helping ease the tension one bit. She had probably planned this in her little head long before I could detect.
"Did you know she was going to do this?" I looked at Edward who cut a slice of cheesecake for himself.
He shrugged, "She did warn me."
"But you came anyway," I rolled my eyes and leaned back on the chair.
He chewed for a bit then shrugged, "I wanted to see you outside of the club, nationals or on television. I miss you and you've been doing a good job at avoiding me every chance you get."
"I haven't been avoiding you," I grumbled as I grabbed a small sandwich. "I just- I just didn't know what to say when I did see you again."
