"I thought you said you wanted a limited number of sponsors," Louis raised his eyebrows as he made me a cup of tea.
I kicked out my leg as I shrugged then smiled up to him. It had been a while since I had seen the London skyline and if I had to be honest I hadn't missed it one bit. There was something about being on the farm that brought me inner peace. Edinburgh was an extremely busy city but it had grown on me more. Maybe because it represented new beginnings for me and I cherished that.
"I'm planning for retirement. Even though rugby money is good. It's not going to be enough," I explained knowing very well Louis was going to sniff out bullshit faster than I could say it.
"You said you don't need lots of money and you didn't want sponsors to take time away from your work at the farm. What changed?"
I opened my mouth and closed it. He placed my tea cup in front of me and a plate of biscuits. "Do I need to explain why I need more money?"
