With the usual snap, the Shadow Monarch's corrupted remnant soul and core were destroyed completely.
However, the energy it had was left. It seemed a bit different after the Monarch was destroyed, though. It seemed way less chaotic and sinister. It became more ethereal, almost like Layla's shadow magic.
"Are you just going to keep on peeking? Come in and bring Layla with you," Mrs C suddenly spoke after gathering herself for a moment.
She was looking up, so it was obvious that she was talking to Muku.
