"Well, this is a surprise. I never thought that I would see you again. It took so many sacrifices, but you managed to make it out alive. Bravo!"
Despite being dragged into Clarien's office by two large men and wearing cuffs around her hands and feet, Delilah looked as unperturbed as normal.
She even went so far as to mockingly congratulate Clarien and clapped her hands together with what little movement she was capable of.
"I told you that you wouldn't get away with betraying me. Now the recompense you so deserve has finally caught up with you. The first time Rook suggested killing you, I should have let him." Clarien said, glowing at the woman in front of him.
"Oh, but that would have spoiled all of my fun early. And it wouldn't have accomplished anything either. Also, I'm sure you know the rumors about me. I'm immortal. Even if you kill this body, I'll pop up somewhere else later."
Delilah looked quite smug as she said this.
