Before sliding under the legs of the person wearing power armor, Liesel had been using their bulky form to block the line of sight of the other nine combatants to make it harder for them to shot her.
Now that she was on the other side of the individual after landing her attack, they all had their weapons aimed at her and opened fire again despite the fact that their attacks were just as likely to hit their comrade as they were her.
It seemed that they were going to bank on the person's power armor protecting them from the friendly fire and were prepared to do some damage to an ally if it meant killing Liesel.
Of course, she had never stopped moving, and with a burst of movement she closed in on the group firing at her.
She used her hardlight buckler to guard against the majority of the blasts, and evasive footwork to avoid the others.
Her approach was not perfect since she took a couple hits, but her personal shield generator blocked those at the cost of some of its capacity.
