Waking up early the next morning, the night still present and heavy around me, I immediately began mind breathing, training for more than two hours before finally getting ready for school.
After I was done consulting Chiara and given a time frame by the councillor, she had departed. Denise soon followed her afterwards, though only after a lot of convincing from me. I gave her promises and proofs, even having to employ some lies with the system's help.
"Where is Nadia?" I asked.
"She got the flu," Wanda replied.
"She was okay when last I saw her."
"I guess it happened overnight," Wanda said. "She was in a hurry but promised to be back before this morning."
"Try calling her line."
After a cold bath, I was dressed and ready to head out, but so far, I hadn't seen my PA.
"It's not going through."
I cocked my head slightly, but before I could speak, the door to our new location opened.
