It had only been a week since I finished the job in the underworld and life had been normal for the most part but I did start to wonder if I should try to interact with more canon characters but honestly I could always try to kill some members of the Khaos brigade or any faction leader if I wanted to gain a mission to gain more rewards.

I have discovered a problem. To use the magic branches I wanted to learn I would need materials for the alchemy and dead bodies for the necromancy. They usually wouldn't be a problem, but I would have to wait since I gained a new notification that stopped on my plans.
